Severe lack of a/c for a hotel that advertises it. I read that the rooms are way too small and thought nothing of it but good lord nothing would’ve prepared me for less than a foot of space between the two twin beds that roll apart very easy and the wall. Try a different place.

Wow, PAX Casona Busto! Wow, Asturias! Absolutely stunning part of Spain, and this is the place to stay. I can't thank the hotel and charming host Valentina enough for a perfect stay. The hotel is in a beautiful masion house with lots of character. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with a handy small fridge for cold drinks, and a kettle for hot drinks. The breakfast was great, and always served with a smile. Good coffee too. The hotel is in a small town, Pravia, with a couple of good supermarkets, restaurants, and easy walking disrance from the Renfe Cercanias railway station. Very handy to visit Cudillero, Gijon, Oviedo, Aviles, San Esteban, and all over Asturias, with the free Cercanias train pass. Next time I visit Asturias, this will be my home from home! Gracias!

The hotel is in an amazing position “on the beach” with a good restaurant / bar and cafeteria both open lunchtime and evening. Our room had a sea view (we chose the first upgrade option) and was very spacious and comfortable. No aircon but we left the window open all night with the sound of the sea helping us sleep! The only downside is that the car park is in front of the hotel rather than behind so spoils the view a little at times but it’s free parking for hotel guests so that’s a bonus! Overall a very good stay 😎

Hotel was great, close to the centre of town - staff very helpful, rooms lovely, bar staff engaging. Reception staff helped us to locate somewhere to eat. Very nice indeed The parking is an adventure! The small parking is both entrance and exit! the spaces are also small so be aware if you have a large car. Also be brave and just go for it!
