Close to the old town, the railway station and the beaches. A very pleasant hotel, it's a shame that the appearance that the hotel so understandably wants to preserve detracts from the stay. No way to dry beachwear and towels as the hotel asked for the room railings (no balconies) not to be used.
Staff could try a bit harder to engage with guests - the functional 'Room number?' Question at breakfast every day that was never accompanied with any other greeting or good wishes is an example?
Overall a reasonable experience.

Subur is in a superb location...the staff are friendly and we had a great time....However we had requested two rooms with 2 single beds each...on arrival we were given 1 lovely room with 2 single beds and a room with a "double" bed....the bed was too small for two people and the room tiny...more suited to a single person than a couple...we requested a room change which we got two nights later and were then given a nice large room with two lovely terraces looking out to sea...Subur cannot help being on the busy sea front where the noise level can be high...however this is compensated by the fantastic location...once the doors to the terraces are closed and the air conditioning on... the noise levels are bearable....breakfast (which was not included ) can be a bit pricey but an unlimited buffet.

This was an excellent hotel for the price and location. It was situated on the Marina and close proximity to town and transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast which came with the room offered a good variety of hot and cold options with a lovely display. Carmen the attendant at breakfast made sure there was plenty and went out of her way to make sure you had everything you needed. Would go back again!

Hotel restaurant was very good. Breakfast available until noon was what every tired visitor needs. Train to Barcelona was very fast and convenient. But the very best was having a drink from your room balcony overseeing the beautiful Mediterranean Sea!

Hotel is situated about 1km from centre of Sitges so a lot of walking involved if you want to est snd drink and sbop in town.
Main block of botel snd swimming pool as you might rxprct but there is an underground tunel that connrcts it with various modern extension across the road. Very weird and confusing layout, lots of stairs and ramps. Our room 539 was located in tbis area, rather small with no bidet in bathroom. There was a very nice adjoining terrace with a small pool, However the hotel used this for hosting events so that on Saturday and Sunday night a dj and lots of non residents msking a lot of noise until very late. On Tuesday tbey hosted a similar drinks party on tbe terrsce but it finished about 8pm.
As viditors to the hotel we were not warned about theses events nor invited to attend. The downside was that after the events the terrace was out of use to hotel guests because thr sun beds and other furnisbings had been removrd and it took more than 24 hours for them to be replaced.

Barcelona’s weekend seaside retreat, trendy Sitges was originally colonised by artists and intellectuals and is now a very popular gay destination. It may be the Costa Dorada’s most sophisticated resort but it has maintained its local identity and the Old Town has considerable charm. Sitges also boasts lovely sandy beaches, very good restaurants, a vibrant nightlife and chic boutiques. Visit in February for the riotous Sitges Carnival.
