Great Suite. Great staff. We bought groceries and cooked, rested, washed clothes while waiting for weather to clear for whale watching trip. The views from the upper suite were fantastic. Separate bedrooms were also nice. Breakfast was also really nice. Can’t say enough great things about this hotel.

Had to check out 2 days early and the Hotel said the credit would come through Expedia, No luck so far. I will book directy with the Hotel in the future if this is not resolved.

This “hotel” was probably the worst value of all our 9 bookings for this trip. It was £30 more than we paid for Quality Hotel Richard With which was far and away a better quality hotel. The main reason we were here was to park the car overnight in the ferry queue to make sure we caught the 0845 to Senja. It worked out a good location for this. The only real strong point. The Marena is what appears to be a converted offices suite over a converted shop. It is unstaffed and feels like a student dorm or hostel. Everything feels cheap and shoddy. The transparent white bedroom curtains did not close out any summer light at all. Seagulls squawked outside the room all night, a local gathering point. A mean selection at breakfast. If we had paid half what we did then I may not have grumbled. But if you see £120 a night for your dates like we have just paid, look elsewhere. Avoid if you can.

Very comfortable room. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff.
