This place is called “ekimae” but calling it that is a far stretch. It isn’t too far but you have to either walk under a dark bridge or up and around the north exit. The outside is in really bad shape and is under construction which affected the entrance lobby. The entrance isn’t wheelchair friendly which is funny because they do allow you to borrow their wheelchair. The buffet had a good selection of food but some of it was bland. Really weird ambiance with a bunch of people eating in silence with no music. Elevators are slow and deathly - nearly chomped my arm off closing in it quickly. Rooms are decent size, typical Apa layout but no AC control in these - the turn on dial is on the bed dash which wasn’t noted anywhere. Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke so I had to sleep with a mask on. Internet was horribly slow per the usual in Japan. The best thing about the hotel was the bath, which was super crowded even at 830pm and had to wait 10+ minutes to shower. Overall, ok hotel on a budget but wouldn’t stay again.

Nous avons adoré séjourner dans cet hôtel! Cet onsen tellement bien aménagé, nos attentes ont été dépassées pour une première fois dans ce type d’endroit. L’hôtel est également très bien situé, juste devant une rue commerciale qui possède une jolie ambiance et plusieurs restaurants. Une escale parfaite entre Kanazawa et Nagano!
