The hotel was a bit outdated, but well maintained and clean. Amenities were thoughtful and easy to find. We were invited to help ourselves to combs, hair ties, cotton pads, and extra yukatas to borrow. LThere was a sauna, jet bath, and an outside bath overlooking the ocean(roten buro). Staff were courteous and helpful. I was glad choosing the option including the breakfast, which was amazing, and had a variety of traditional Japanese, American, and dessert foods.

Nice hotel with good amenities and onsen. Convenient access to everything via train or taxi. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Rooms were big and clean. Breakfast was excellent - lots of local dishes and fresh seafood. The hotel is close to the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse and the Ropeway. However, there are not many restaurants or shops around the hotel and the area feels a bit secluded.

Food was exceptional and the staff was very professional. Truly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

We all stayed in Japanese/western rooms with private onsens. The rooms were old but well maintained. I have to give a low score as the hotel allows smoking and the smell of smoke was overwhelming. We had to open all of the windows and allow airflow during our entire stay. Thankfully we came in the summer so we could open the windows and there was a nice and steady breeze. They gave us a spray to spray on the tatami mats and carpet but the smell of smoke was embedded into the walls and filters (which needed to be cleaned). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with allergies or sensitivity to smoke as I struggled with my allergies during my entire stay. The hotel staff are extremely kind and helpful and their souvenir shop is fully stocked of local snacks to do last minute shopping. There kaiseki breakfast and dinners were amazing and we always left stuffed to the brim. The in room onsens were the best part of the hotel. Each over looking the ocean, allowing you to soak in the onsen, listen to the ocean and see the sky all while in the privacy of your own room. It made every issue we had a little more acceptable.
