Always a great stay

Positive is the staff is very good and the restaurant is excellent. However, the rooms are looking a little tired especially the furniture and the lighting in the rooms is poor.

The Hotel Hartness is definitely a desirable set up for couples. We checked in and decided to check out the restaurant before going to the room. The wait staff said to have a seat and make yourselves comfortable. Someone came right over to the lounge area to wait on us. Dinner and breakfast was delicious 😋. Breakfast was not continental. We ordered omelets. The hotel was cozy, spacious, charming and close to places I enjoy visiting.

Great space to rent versus have a hotel room. The unit was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Our only issue was getting an immediate response with an issue discovered at check in. Because Landing had to contact the onsite office for the apartments, we did not receive the pool pass until half way through our visit. It was very disappointing not to be able to use the pool the first two days since we intentionally booked this place for the pool.

The staff kept knocking on our door early that morning and opened it twice whenever we didn't get to answer it quickly enough despite the fact that we asked who is it and said hold on. They entered our room and we were still asleep in our beds. Then at ariund 11am the manager and a man came and told me they had to put a new thermostat on the wall and told me they had to do it right then. I understand however this is something to do when the room isnt occupied. I was trying to get in the shower and had an appointment to be at and he wasn't worried about that he told me Thames had to do it now. I didnt feel comfortable leaving my belongings there while these peolpe were in my room and I was forced to wait and be late for my appointment. The thermostat worked fine it wasnt broken so I dont see the need to do this while I was renting the room. I have a service dog and was told I had to pay a fee for her. And he also told me I had to have her paperwork. They advertise that all pets stay free and service dogs are supposed to regardless. And by law you arent supposed to ask for paperwork or what my condition is for having one. The rooms are super small and not in the best of shape. Bedding is cheap and dirty and the lamps and phone jacks beside the beds didnt work.
