Scottsburg Vacation Packages

The hotel was undergoing a roof replacement project. They did not post in advance that this would be going on during our stay. We did not know until we arrived. We asked to be in another building but they didn’t have one available and that we would have to just bear with it. We were there for four days for our anniversary. They said they would give us a discount, but that didn’t happen. This hotel is usually a nice place to stay but not this time. Roofing materials and trash from the contractor was on our balcony and in the plants and ground outside of our balcony. We had prepaid for our entire stay and was very disappointed.

Soap was missing so I couldn’t wash dishes. I left my phone charger and when I notified the staff that I would be back next week they said they’d set it aside for me. When I got back the charger block was there and the cord was gone.

Great spot with a wonderful view. Good for a family of up to 4

Great place to stay while in Brookings. Ive literally stayed in all the lodging available in Brookings in my past 9 years coming here. Wild Rivers is my favorite place to stay in Brookings. Great location and very good accommodations for the price. My only concerns this past visit which has never been in issue before was the parking. Various vehicles were taking up two spots which ultimately reduces number of parking spots available in a small area to begin with. I don't know how management can prevent this other than taking license plate while a reservation is made to be able contact room # and they can park correctly. Again, this has only occurred once before so not a major concern but an observation, nonetheless. Highly recommend the Black Trumpet Bistro for Sunday Brunch.
