No room service, had to get clean towels for a shower the next day and the staff were rude and they didn’t want to give us more toilet roll as we had run out, but we forced that matter, it’s more like a 1 star not a 3, the bar there is pathetic the staff didn’t know how to pour a beer that in the end was disgusting, very poor hospitality wouldn’t stay there again

Arriving at this hotel was greeted by a young man who made us feel welcome. Spoke English and ibis should be proud of a great staff member. He gave us a welcome pack for the Lille braderie which had maps and bus times, restaurants. So organised, The room was clean and modern and we had dinner downstairs and sane young man produced an English menu.Breakfast was fantastic so much choice. would stay again and recommend.

One member of staff, a bearded one, wearing a sweater, was so rude and obnoxious. A scary experience. On the other hand, the other staff members were kind and supportive I have to admit.

The hotel is a little dated looking but has a spacious carpark. Exceptionally helpful staff and a very decent breakfast. Room was clean with a good shower. Very well placed for travel into Ypres and beyond and was ideal for our trip.

Very basic accommodation not close to the town centre and approximately 900 yards away from the nearest train station
