On checkout day House Cleaning tapped on the door for three minutes to wake me up at 9:00am. I did not request a wake up call and was well aware of the checkout time of 11:00am. It was rude and disrespectful. We’ve never had an issue with checking out late before.

I stayed at the Sterling Hotel for one night. I stayed in the deluxe queen room. My room was at best decent. The room was in need of a better cleaning, better decor, had some chips and dents, the TV didn't have anything to access to watch anything, staff isn't around after 4pm, and I think that they can do better! I couldn't get the jet on the Jacuzzi tub to turn on and I texted the number that was given and got no response. They didn't acknowledge my text at all during my stay. It would be helpful if staff was available for at least a few hours during the evening time to help customers. When I checked in they should have included instructions on the Jacuzzi tub. They say that they are operating like a bed and breakfast when there is NO breakfast. Coffee was available in the lobby and in the room. I think they could have spared a few more k-cups for the Keurig and I had to go down to the lobby to get more coffee. They could have included sugar too! I also think they should have included a lamented sheet or binder of restaurants and things to do nearby. It would have made my stay easier to navigate. I'm disappointed in the lack of service. I really believe that they can do better!!!

We had a very clean room, comfortable beds and and liked the pool area and outdoor space. The cafe was ok but quite limited. The shower was also a bit awkward and it got the entire bathroom floor wet.

Great location across from the lake you could walk to. Firepit at night we used. Construction going on in the street was loud, but not the hotels fault. Out room was quiet overlooking the golf course. The front desk staff, Lola, was super helpful and even asked if we needed help with our luggage. No elevator. Food was not the best at the adjoining restaurant.

Stay upstairs ceiling is the floor to the upstairs unit noisy Skip minimal breakfast, coffee just to get you going Older place, simple, clean. Good for a night passing through

Loved the old bathrooms, the over-head tank toilets are classic and the oldstyle clawed bathtubs are awesome. However if you're a senior like me the tub can be tricky, no anti-slip tape in tub, and you gotta really lift those legs. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. They will take your bags to your room but you have to drag your body upstairs yourself. If your less then 65 and healthy , love American history, then this is the place for you.
