Great location with excellent staff. Breakfast was good. Lots of things to see within walking distance. Great restaurants close by. No a/c but they put fans in each room.

We stayed one night at the chateau in July as a family of 5, including three teens. The property exterior is beautiful. Our kids enjoyed the pool. Our unit was a 2-bed, 2-bath. Unfortunately the hotel did not tell us ahead of time that the upstairs bath was out of order. Or offer any type of reimbursement. We paid almost $700 for the night. The main floor of the unit did have a mini split a/c, however, the upstairs attic bedroom did not. It was so hot, easily 20 degrees warmer, that our boys ended up sleeping on the couch and chairs on the main level. No one slept well that night. Very disappointed. Sadly would not recommend for families.

The property is beautiful and in a very nice location to several Normandy area sites. The staff was kind but not as well informed as a concierge and since they didn’t have one, it seemed to us that this should be remedied. For example we wanted to know about the distillery closest to the hotel and they could not tell us anything even though their products were available for purchase from them. It wasn’t a big thing but a miss that seems pretty easy to address. We would happily stay their again-especially for the reasonable pricing we were charged for this period.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It really suited our lifestyle and tastes. The breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced, and we ate it on the sunny deck. We enjoyed working out in the gym before eating. The beds were comfortable and it was fun to watch the little rabbits in the garden out our window. Our boys had fun playing table soccer in the lobby. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Can’t say enough good stuff about this place. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Normandy.

Really lovely, historic property in a rural setting with a beautiful restaurant and bar. They have AC units in the family suite to manage the heat. The buildings are beautiful and close to charming villages and the Normandy beaches

Great location to Caen Train Station easy walking distance to. Easy Uber to the Memorial Museum in Caen. Good sized rooms, clean and comfortable. Only one pillow per person was only drawback. Breakfast with good and had variety in choices. Overall great experience!
