I enjoy my visit. It was better than expected to be honest. i am thinking to come back in the future.

Stayed at the Mayan princess 6 days with a 4 year old and my experience was better than expected. Stayed in a beautiful villa and was cleaned great everyday the AC worked great. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Not a lot of entertainment but the two days they had it the shows were a 10/10. The pool is clean and beautiful not overcrowded. The most beautiful part for me was the beach, the water and the views looked out of a magazine. The beach is not privite so there are street venders but were respectful and told no. The food did not have a ton of choices but it was very good. The A ala carta restaurants were so good a 10/10. The VIP area San Simon was nice and staff were attentive. I will definitely come back lots to do in the area and I felt safe walking around.

Una experiencia inolvidable en Palmero Pay, Isla de la Bahía Nuestra estadía en la comunidad de Palmero Pay fue simplemente espectacular. Fuimos en familia buscando descanso y tranquilidad, y encontramos mucho más que eso. Cada día que pasamos allí fue excepcional: la casa estaba impecable, con todos los detalles cuidados al máximo. Nos sentimos como en casa desde el primer momento. La piscina es perfecta para relajarse y disfrutar del entorno, y tener el mar justo detrás fue una bendición. Caminar por la playa cada mañana y ver los atardeceres frente al mar fue una experiencia única. La paz del lugar, la belleza del paisaje y la comodidad de la casa hicieron de este viaje algo realmente inolvidable. Recomiendo este lugar con los ojos cerrados a cualquiera que quiera desconectarse del estrés y conectarse con la naturaleza, la familia y la paz interior. ¡Volveremos sin duda!

Pros: We stayed here for a week to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The maintenance team was kind enough to set up a small decoration to acknowledge her birthday, which was a thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. Transportation to and from the airport was seamless, and our driver, Carlos, was excellent. The bar staff—Marvin, Joel, and another bartender with light-colored eyes whose name I unfortunately can’t remember—were extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. Cons: Upon arrival, we were told that we would receive a 20% discount at the bar/restaurant for our first few orders. We were also encouraged to open what they call a “voucher,” where all purchases are charged to the room and then settled with one final bill at checkout. What was not explained to us was that we had to specifically ask for the 20% discount to be applied. By the time we realized this, our bill had already been closed out at checkout. When we went to the front desk to ask about it, the woman assisting us was dismissive and somewhat rude, simply stating that there was nothing she could do. The lack of clear communication was frustrating, but the way the situation was handled afterward felt especially unprofessional. There is also not much to do at the resort. They offer activities such as movie night, Garifuna night, karaoke, and dancing, but most activities only last around 30 minutes, and it seemed like only one staff member was truly engaged in getting guests involved.

Incredible stay (and I’m a harsh critic). Beautifully designed rooms, filtered water and espresso in-room daily, and hands-down the best food and drinks of our trip. Amazing views from the restaurant and a private waterfront deck just for guests. Can’t wait to return. Thank you to the staff and front of house for being so welcoming!!!
