"Nice for a one night stay"
We fly on Thursday to save enough for an extra day at our resort location. This one bedroom rental met our needs well. The unit seems slightly dated, but very clean and comfortable. The staff is top notch in friendliness and attention to guests

I suppose it's more accurate than not that you can't go wrong in Kauai. But It is equally true you may not be able to do better than The Cliffs at Princeville.

"Very nice excellent hotel - except food!!!!"
Very friendly place. you literally feel welcomed. Staff is A to Z just amazing. Everyone is smiling - not a corporate fake one - real smiles:)))) Rooms are comfortable and ACs are working great (which is important when outside is 95.) There is a bbg area which is a great idea I believe - First come first serve - I would highly recommend this place. The only disappointment is food: Food at the main restaurant is really bad. It is not take out food bad but still for the price they are charging it feels like rip off. Overall food is not so great on the island of Kauai. Local farmers cant produce large enough quantities, so the restaurants visit costco very often I was told. I can be okay with food coming from mainland but charging as if I am served 5 star food, does not feel good. - First morning I ordered bagel and cream cheese. I had one bagel and two 1oz cream cheese packages on my plate and the price is $7. Same bagel and two 1oz cream cheese cups are $3 dollars at the cafe next to the restaurant and you can actually buy your food from cafe and sit down at the restaurant. - All kind of juice (orange, pineapple, coconut) is priced as if it is fresh and daily etc. But they are all canned. - One night we ordered risotto and this is the first time, I am served steamed rice as risotto. - Creamy tomato bisque soup was like tomato puree. - Another night we had cheese plate. It was a large amount ok and had 4-5 different types of common cheese. Nothing fancy. $70.

"Nice Place, Great Location"
Absolutely stunning view, very comfortable, nice kitchen but we were only allowed to use 2 of 4 burners on the stove which made dinner a bit of a chore. The hike down to the beach is a bit of hike and that beach wasn’t that great so we had to drive and carry all our stuff which was also a bit of hassle. Also, hauling out all our trash and recycling the day we left was kind of a drag too. Total 1st world issues, I know, and I feel like a jerk for mentioning them but I guess we are spoiled rotten and are just used to room service and a beach right outside our door.

"Great ocean view, loads of room in the rental. "
We loved the ocean view and the space in the rental. Having two bathrooms was great. This was a private rental, so we had some things like beach chairs and beach towels that other rooms might not have had. We made use of the kitchen to take a break from eating out. We did use the hot tub and pool and found them refreshing and uncrowded. We rented bikes from the desk and rode to a remote beach. Great location and property!

"Overall nice hotel except for concierge"
Very nice hotel, room is very modern and spacious with a great view over the golf course. Overall a pleasant stay. The guy at the concierge was not very helpful as he was trying to get us attend the presentation for time share. He didnt tell us anything about the resort and the area (even though i asked), or any other activities/excursions than the ones tied to the time share presentation(if you attend the 90min presentation, you can get some discount on those excusions). He's probably the worst concierge that i've ever met. If his sole interest is to get guests attend the time share presentation, then the hotel might as well just replace the "concierge" sign with "time share sales".

Princeville is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Princeville, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Princeville hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
