"Nice stay."
I agree with all the good things reviewers have said about this hotel. Whether it meets the status of "Luxury" I'm not so sure. What I liked most was the low volume of guests and all adults the week we stayed. The cleanliness and housekeeping service were top notch and I liked turn down service because of the towel, water, and shampoo replacements in the evening. The ice bucket and chocolate was a very nice touch. The housekeeping services really deserve praise. All the staff were very professional and friendly. I have seen the complaints about the need for car valet service. I observed that it would become very congested around the entrance without it so I came to appreciated that service very much. And, I didn't mind at all tipping for the service as the team was very attentive, very quick and really deserved tips. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was mostly due to the price of cocktails. $17 for a cocktail was well above prices at the surrounding hotels and I think, discouraged guests from spending anytime in the evening around the pool and fire pits. The lack of activity in the evening made the place seem a little dull and boring. Not that I'm advocating party-town at night, but more reasonable drink prices would have encouraged more evening visits to the pool and hot tub that I think would have increased guest enjoyment in general. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

"Vacation at the Point at Poipu"
Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was clean when we arrived and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Having laundry facilities in the facility was very handy as well. We at once at the poolside café. Food was nothing to write home about but everyone was very friendly and was nice talking to other people that were there. I had a death in the family while I was there, and hotel refunded all my nights there even though they would not have had to. Only downside is that it is off the beach a ways, though you have a great view of the ocean from the property. I would definitely stay here again

"Beautiful pool, average room"
The grounds and pool are very nice and clean. The pool is particularly impressive. The bar/restaurant onsite is excellent. Our room was dated and noisey and a bit disappointing. There are chickens and roosters all over the resort, which is really fun, except they crow all through the night. For hotel guests, they only service your room every three days. Many folks staying there are timeshare owners and the rooms with the best views go to them. Beach access is a five minute walk downhill down a really pretty path. The beach is nice but not big and does not have lounge chairs for Hanalei Bay resort guests. We went in November and it rained a lot.

This is the most beautiful hotel I've had the pleasure of experiencing for a vacation. The amazing sites of the island of Kaua'i obviously gives it a unique advantage. It's simply a lovely accommodation for a romantic getaway. My wife and I stayed for a week in late September for our 6 year wedding anniversary and honestly this was my favorite trip I've ever taken with her!

"nice place to stay for peace and bliss"
The room we stayed in was on the very ground floor which was nice to not have to lift suitcases up stairs but there are stairs to get down to the apartment. The apartment was a nice size for the both of us and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook your own meals. The property has chickens everywhere but they were not annoying just don't expect a sleep in. Th pool area was great very nice to swim in for an evening dip after a long day,

"BEST location on the island!"
We can't even imagine a better place to stay. The view! Outstanding! The ocean is right beneath the balcony, sea turtles swimming, waves crashing, coconut tree tops as you look out the window. No one between you and the ocean, as this part of the shore is made up of lava rocks.... so no beach goers. BUT, the beach is a very short distance down the road. We walked down one morning ( a 5 minute walk) and there were Hawaiian Monk Seals sleeping in the sand. This condo is located in a beautiful area of Kauai. The landscaping is amazing. It almost felt like a movie set. The air smells like flowers. The only downside was the lack of a/c, which was really only a (mild) issue midday if you wanted to take a nap. However, a. they were installing air conditioners when we left, b. I can't imagine sleeping at night with air on as the sound of the waves crashing into the lava rocks was heavenly. And the breeze was wonderful. This would not inhibit me from booking this room again. I can't imagine staying anywhere else on the island.

"Lovely hotel "
The hotel was fantastic, however during or stay the salt ponds were under construction so that was a bit of a bummer. The room we were in could have use a bit of updating but beyond that it was absolutely fabulous. The staff was wonderful- they really go above any beyond to make sure you enjoy your vacation.

"Close to beach and south shore excursions"
Had a great time during our stay. Pool was nice and there were DVDs to borrow. Big spacious rooms. Short walk down to Poipu Beach to see the sunset. Only downside was the lack of A/C units and the two twin beds in the guest bedroom.

"Excellent resort, Fridge smelled"
Stayed in 9306 (building 9, 3rd floor, room 6), which had an excellent view of the property, and a very nice partial ocean view. Found the grounds to be well maintained, parking easy, and hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Unit was extremely nice, with the only issue being a smelly fridge. Smelled like dead fish every time you opened it. The housekeeping crew cleaned and checked it twice, but the smell remained. It did not dampen our enjoyment of the unit though. Only way our stay could have been better would be if there was a nice sand beach in front of the property. Overall, a great place.

Kekaha is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Kekaha, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Kekaha hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
