"Kauai oceanfront experience"
Amazing room and experience. The oceanfront room is worth it. You can go from the ocean to the beach easily and Poipu Beach is a very short drive away.

"Nice hotel but construction impacts stay"
The hotel was nice and the space of our three room villa was awesome. The pool was very large and peaceful and we spent a lot of time enjoying it. The walk to the beach was longer than expected based on the construction and the road is not safe for young kids as it does not have walking paths. We ended up driving most places. The villa we had was a partial ocean view and the construction noise was quite loud and while the banging might not start until 9 am - the crews arrive around 6 am and are not the quietest. Additionally, we had to call in twice to complain they were going well past 8 pm a couple nights. I would not recommend an ocean view because of this - but the resort view villas seemed to have the quiet one craves on vacation.

"Amazing beach front hotel"
Amazing beach front hotel. Not like the huge chain hotels where you get lost. Cozy friendly and worm. We upgraded to a ocean front room and it was worth every penny!!! We had breakfast in the porch 15 feet away from the ocean every morning. Amazing. Room 180 is on the far right and was great location. Figure about 50 dollars a day more for the resort fees and taxes.in a very friendly staff. Out of their way to help. Complementary vallet parking. They bring you car in less them a minute. My wife had 3 massage and loved it. All of them right next to the ocean. Nice pool and hot tub. Most of the time we were alone in the tub (and pool) as its a fairly small resort. Over all: great.

"condos on rocky coastline"
The condominium I was supposed to stay in had a faulty front door lock. I did get to see the interior and it was on the second floor, and it was clean and sufficient. The beds were okay, looked like they could use new mattresses. The management upgraded me to a nicer unit on the first floor. It was clean and quiet. The downside was that I was uncomfortable sleeping at night with the sliding glass door open, and that was the only window ventilation available with no air conditioning. It was nice. The bathrooms were very nice, laundry in the unit was convenient, and it was certainly centrally located on the island, which is what I was looking for. All in all, I had a nice stay.

"Aston at Poipu Kai"
I've stayed at the other resorts in Poipu and was looking for something a bit different for a family of 4. The Aston really fit our needs. The room we rented was a condo with a full kitchen, a large living room, a large master bedroom, and a nice second bedroom. It was really like staying at someone's house for a week. We saved a fortune on meals and it was nice sitting down after a day at the beach on a nice couch to read a book. The room was not on the beach, but it was a walk or short car ride to the main beach. If I had to choose between the Aston or a different Poipu resort for my next stay, I would gladly rebook the Aston.

"Great location"
We stayed in the Beachcomber, a basic studio suite. It was private, comfortable and extremely well supplied. Located just a block away from the ocean, it was a fabulous location both for the lovely garden view we had in a quiet and attractive neighbourhood and for the walk to the beach at Poipu. The lanai was so enjoyable on those warm mornings and evenings.

"Great Location"
We were very happy with the location of our room. We had waves exploding on rocks at our back porch, a great swimming pool a few yards away, and a short walk to the beach. Barbecue grills available on the grounds. Great selection of restaurant food available. Big Save market has great dinner plates and poke, a good place to get food supplies.

Koloa is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Koloa, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Koloa hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
