"PERFECT PLACE FOR A QUIET HONEYMOON BY THE BEACH!"
We stayed 7 nights at Koa Kea and had a fantastic trip. Nice pool area, steps to the ocean. Fabulous snorkeling near hotel. We saw sea turtles and monk seals on early morning walks. Great staff. Special touches that made the honeymoon feel special.

"Beautiful beach!"
these are condo units owned by individuals and managed by an outside company. So every unit is different. All the units are very old, and it appears ours was never upgraded. Plumbing fixtures were not chrome anymore but badly oxidized. The sink was so old the water had permanently stained it. We had to beg for maid service and only got it twice in six days we were there. Shower was old with ugly old fixtures. The good part is that this property is right next to the Sheraton on the best beach in Kauai. And for six nites it was eight hundred dollars less than the Sheraton. The grounds are huge and beautiful, but the pool is across the street and not too good. And the only restaurant doesn't open till 530 for dinner. Must travel for breakfast and lunch. Again the Sheraton next door!

"Time sharing condo at Poipu point"
Lovely modern two bedroom, two bath condo units at Poipu Point, no beach on site but large shallow pool appropriate for kids. Construction nearby (did not affect our stay). No housekeeping but beach towels changed anytime. Check in easy (food stored by bellman in freezer) until room was ready; then sent to (pleasant) concierge to hear about time sharing offers and for -purchase activities-took about 10 minutes and was not bothered again by them. Poipu Point is beautiful with wonderful beaches nearby, a great central starting place to visit Waimea Canyon and Wailua and even the North Shore.

"Beautiful condo on the ocean. "
This is a beautiful place stay. All the rooms are overlooking the ocean and the pool. From our room we saw at least 10 turtles a day swimming in the bay below the pool as well as whales further out in the ocean. The condo is a 5 minute walk to Poipu beach park or Brenneke beach. We swam with the turtles at Brenneke Beach and saw an abundance of fish snorkelling at Poipu Beach. The condo was was stocked with everything you would need, including beach toys, boogie boards and umbrella. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Great location for families "
Sheraton was a wonderful place for our family. Plenty to do. A wonderful location on the south shore. Easy to get to. Parking was wonderful. First night free valet and the remaining is free self park at which there was a gated parking close to our room. Free parking is almost unheard of in Kauai. The staff was wonderful, kind, and friendly. We stayed in room 1120 and it had a great view of both pool and ocean. You do get the pool noise just a tad but it never bothered us. Our flight didn't leave until 10pm. We were able to check out an hour later and still use the pool and hotel after because there is a courtesy room available to guests to shower and get ready on a first come first serve bases. The luau was beautiful and entertaining.

"Beautiful Condo near Poipu Beach"
We stayed 4 days/nights and found the location great for visiting places on south and west Kauai. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and opened to the ocean. Poipu Beach was just a short walk down the beach. The whole Koloa area was quiet, compared with east Kauai. The condo was beautifully furnished, but not air-conditioned (which is the prime reason for a 3 rating, instead of 4). During hot and humid afternoons, the condo was a bit uncomfortable, despite ceiling fans. Although we did not eat at the restaurant on site, we found many good restaurants nearby. Also, there was a hefty "add on" cleaning fee even though they just changed out the towel mid way through our stay. I really wish these fees were just included in the upfront price.

"Beautiful place, friendly staff"
We went for our honeymoon. The staff was incredibly helpful. Resort services such as meals, spa and events were fantastic. The stores were quite nice, and so were the local crafters. Trees, plants, birds were everywhere. It is pricey however, but worth at least one good stay.

"Nice and private. Close to the beach."
The staff was great. I realized after leaving that I left a personal item in the room and emailed to ask them to look for it. They responded within an hour by email that they found it and would mail it. I received it within five days!

"Very comfortable ocean view condo"
This condo could easily become my home away from home. It was incredibly comfortable for the entire family. I believe it was advertised as a 2 bath yet has 3. The beds were comfortable and in good condition. There is no AC but there are plenty of fans . It can get a bit warm upstairs but there certainly is no reason to complain as your in a humid tropical climate. It comes with the territory. The condo is supplied with everything you may need when it came to going to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped as well. This is an ocean view condo. Almost ocean front but not quite. You overlook the pool with a view to the right of the ocean. Don't be mislead. The ocean is literally one building away. The view is fantastic. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. This place was beautiful.

Koloa is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Koloa, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Koloa hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
