"Fantastic hotel with excellent staff & facilities "
We stayed here for a weekend break in bath. The hotel was brilliant from the start. We had a great welcome from the door staff and the attentive staff continued this throughout our stay. The spa facilities were excellent also, a very welcome break away from the very busy Thermae. It was on the whole an extremely pleasant stay in a very special hotel.

"Great Hotel For Visiting the Centre of Bristol"
We recently had a great couple of nights in the Bristol Hotel. Had a great time at Reception where we were upgraded to a Deluxe room. When we got there we had a bottle of Prosecco on ice and some nibbles. I had let them know we were celebrating our wedding anniversary so that went down very nicely, thank you. The upgraded room was on the top floor and overlooking the quay outside. The room wasn't overly large, but certainly big enough for our needs. The toiletries in the bathroom have to get a special mention as they were excellent quality. Breakfast had plenty of choices and we were given a free paper each morning. We also dined at the River Grille on one evening. The menu and service were excellent. We were very taken with the quality of customer service that we received; everyone seemed to make us very welcome, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is ideally located for looking around the main harbour area with plenty of things to see and do and pretty lively on a Saturday evening. Parking was in the NCP mult-storey next door, but whilst we had expected to pay for it the hotel covered the charge, which was very helpful. All in all, a great stay in a great location and we would definitely return at some stage in the future.

"Lovely estate and rooms are large"
Beautiful hotel and location. The rooms are big but can be a bit hot, but they do provide a fan. The negatives are the room service. By the time it got to us it was cold and the server managed to knock over one of the plates as he came through the door. Our room in the courtyard was some distance from the main hotel which is why the food arrived cold but I would have thought they would cover it. Breakfast times are very busy so best to go early.

"Lovely night away at the Priory"
My friend treated me to a night away for my birthday. We found the hotel beautiful, especially the grounds and gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made my birthday very special. I brought my 10 month old baby with me and the hotel was very accommodating in terms of setting up the travel cot and even providing a change mat, nappy bucket and baby toiletries which was very much appreciated. We enjoyed spa treatments at the L'Occitane Spa and a lovely dinner at the restaurant, all the food was fantastic with special mention to the salted caramel fondant which was to die for. The room was very well appointed, the only drawbacks are that there is no in-room fridge, so you need to request fresh milk from room service and ice to keep things cold. There is also no air-conditioning, although they provide a Dyson fan in the room. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to others for a relaxing retreat.

Old Sodbury is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Old Sodbury, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Old Sodbury hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
