"great location for me"
I find the Carriage House to be in a great location. It is close to shopping and restaurants and parking is free unlike most downtown hotels.

"Wonderful hotel! "
This was my first time staying at this hotel and I had an amazing experience. Every staff member I encountered - from the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, to the casino - were friendly and helpful. My room was absolutely beautiful! It was bright and spacious and well decorated. I slept amazingly well in the comfortable bed. I ordered room service and it was quick, delicious, and they called to do a quality check which I appreciated. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a good variety of foods to choose from and the quality was good. I happened to get there at a moment where everything was really sparse but it was quickly restocked. When my travel plans changed I was able to get a late checkout and the hotel stored my luggage for me as I took time to rearrange my plans. I attended a conference in the hotel and the space we were in was very nice. The meal served during my event was absolutely delicious and the staff were wonderful. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and I'll be recommending it to my friends and family!

Hotel should assign room type according to The confirmed booking. We were assigned a room with one queen instead of two queen beds as reserved. When we asked for a room change, staff said that only one bed was requested. I had to show her my booking confirmation before she would look for a room with two beds for us. In the end she did find a room with two queen beds for us even though she's trying to say that rooms were all sol out.

"Locals were wrong"
We were told by friends living there that this was a bad choice. They were wrong. It's no luxury hotel but we had no complaints. The room was large and the bed comfortable.

"Very good suite hotel"
Spacious suite. Hotel has a very nice lobby with a bright ground floor business centre that is off the lobby - can be used for quiet reading it's that comfortable. Coffee, breakfast bars and water in the lobby a nice touch. Pool is a little small but nice hot tub. Biggest bonus is it's across from an Ikea with nice food. Attached to 2 chain restaurants for affordable good eats and next door to a Wal Mart you can get cheap snacks for your in-room kitchen.

"Great view, delish Breakfast and fab staff"
The views are truly amazing, my husband just wanted to hang out by the dining room (that's where the best views are in our opinion). The house itself is pretty awesome, nicely decorated (my fav was the tapestries hanging on the bannisters), lots of space (theatre, games room, two sitting area/living rooms, dining table, etc.). Speaking of breakfast, it was typical bed and breakfast food (i.e. eggs, bacon, toast, waffles); they were delicious, of course but wasn't expecting the fresh fruits so that was a nice surprise! Tiffany made us feel very welcome (even though my husband found it weird that were staying, basically at someone's house, as he's never stayed at a B&B before lol) and we had a good chat with Chad on our last day during breakfast (he even suggested good fishing spots that my husband can check out later on). Tiffany even sent us an email a couple days before our stay to let us know about the pool (currently out of service) and if we had any allergies!

The computer had to be recharged several times and the key had to be recorded twice during our stay and we did keep the key away from phones which did not make a difference. The breakfast could of had a yogurt or a bowl of bananas, apples oranges. Decaf coffee would have been nice. The staff was very pleasant The container in the room for sugar, coffee mate etc could have been a little more generous.

Okotoks is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Okotoks, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Okotoks hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
