Loved the pool and the fact you can order from the onsite restaurant poolside! The main lobby, breakfast, and overall customer service were great and the rooms were in very nice condition and were very comfortable. The only slight negative was the noise from the traffic on the parking lost side of the hotel and that our bathroom was incredibly small (smallest we’ve ever seen in a hotel). Only one person could be in there at a time and the sink, mirror, toilet and shower were all together so that was a little limiting with 2 adults and 2 kids in the room. But, even with that, we would definitely stay again!!

This is my go to place to stay in Calgary. The desk staff, the dining staff, and the cleaning staff are wonderful. The food is very good. And the bakery counter is such a treat. A+++

We have stayed at The Carriage House several times when visiting Calgary. Like the free breakfast, Peanuts restaurant for dinners and drinks. We prefer to stay in a premium room, however the room we had this time the bathroom was small and it was awkward getting in and out of the shower. Towels were not very soft. I would definitely stay here again

Efficient friendly staff. Answered question re new overflow parking procedure. Room in great condition and clean. AC worked well and quietly. Missing second bathrobe. The one there was scratchy on touch and to skin. Dispensers for body wash and shampoo not refilled and not secured properly to the wall at the top. Squeezing dispensers are difficult for elderly and arthritic hands.

Didn’t like our room being next to a yapping dog despite telling staff we had allergies and didn’t want to be on an animal floor. I liked the prompt way our problem was dealt with by moving us and upgrading our room. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

Overall for the price it’s a good place. Staff were kind and helpful however I feel the stay overall was missing that extra touch. The rooms lacked accommodations such as always having to ask for towels, a lack of shower accommodations and some outdated appliances. However. The room is cheap clean the staff are helpful and for what you’re paying it’s an amazing stay. If you aren’t going to be in your hotel often and you plan to be out and about I definitely reccomend this hotel
