Beautiful spot, great history. Breakfast was wonderful. Dinners were great, both at Karoline’s and at the Pizza restaurant. Wonderful place to stay & see!

Great place to stay in Lofoten even if you're not playing golf. Not close to much but also not super far from anything either.

All good except we arrived in the midst of rain storm. Didn’t get much opportunity to look around but still very pretty place. Windy though.

There are two distinctly different sections to this property. We were booked into one of the older buildings. There are several newer buildings, and the friend we were travelling with was in one of those units. The unit he was in was very nice. These are the pictures are posted on the booking sites. The place we stayed in was terrible. Our unit was old, run-down, and in need of refurbishment. The floors are not level, the finishes are old and tired, and the bed is in a loft which requires crawling through a roughly 2x2 hole to get to it. My wife and I are in our 60s, very fit, but the loft is only suitable for kids. We opted for the small fold out couch was was extremely uncomfortable. We tried to make breakfast in the small kitchen, but the cooktop would shut down as soon as it heated up. This was also one of the most expensive places we booked on Lofoten. The only positive to the property is its location near the water. If you decide to stay here, make sure you book the newer section of the property!
