"A bit of luxury at the end of our New England tour"
Booked this place with some hesitation as it's got some mixed reviews. But we had a lovely stay. We got upgraded to a suite which helped! The staff were all lovely and the room was particularly well appointed. The valet parking was useful in a town where parking can be a bit difficult. We didn't eat here though, although the dinner menu looked good - we just wanted to be out on the town. Even if you don't stay here, I'd recommend a visit to the rooftop bar to watch the sunset whilst drinking a cocktail. It was truly spectacular and a highlight of our trip

"Fabulous honeymoon suite!"
This was a great hotel, over the top service, fabulous suite named and decorated after the "Marble House" Newport mansion and it was gorgeous! Staff was polite, and willing to help and go the extra mile. Room was very clean. This hotel was recently upgraded to a more modern flare and it was very nice. The only thing that needed upgrading was the gym, one of the tread mills didn't work and the free weights needed to be more updated with a range of dumb bells. But if you not into exercise or planned on just running around the beautiful town then you will fine.

"Great Stay, Would Go Back in a Heartbeat!"
Suite was VERY spacious: entryway, bedroom, beautiful kitchen equipped with microwave, toaster, dishwasher, coffee maker, granite countertops. Table for eating and desk for computer work by window. Spacious sitting area with couch, 2 comfy chairs. Gas fireplace....smelled a bit of petroleum when we used it but likely was because it hadn't been used much as chilly weather had just begun. Large bathroom with double sink, tub and shower. Breakfast was assorted fruits, yogurt, assorted cold cereals and packages of oatmeal, bagels, danish, muffins, coffee/tea, OJ, Nutella, pb, jelly, butter. We brought our own eggs and supplemented breakfast by making them in our room. Check in and out was quick. Courtyard is very pretty, hallways are immaculate. Toiletries are very nice from l'occitane. Parking is ample and not cramped. Can't beat the location being one block away from the heart of downtown. A wonderful place to stay!!

"Lovely hotel on the waterfront in Newport"
Beautiful hotel, with wonderful staff. Lovely location on the water with outside dining. Unfortunately, it was to chilly in Oct during our stay for that. The staff was very accommodating and even showed us to our room and explained everything. There are several seating areas downstairs to sit by the fire and read or enjoy a glass of wine. Also a bar and restaurant that overlook the water. It is located right in downtown Newport with easy access to many restaurants and shops.

Convenient neighborhood within walking distance to many places. The outside appearance is quite nice but our room was too small to have a queen sized bed and two chairs. It was nice and clean and the breakfast room was very pleasant, the help were polite and able to answer any questions. Next visit I think we would choose a water view site.

"Hotel away from Downtown but near CliffWalk/beach"
Loved the suite we stayed in. Our suite even had a private balcony near the outdoor hottub and fire pit. It had a little cozy cuddle couch. It was perfect. The check in was great - loved the mints in the lobby and complementary beverages. Restaurant was closed while we were there - didn't know before hand -but there was a great restaurant just a 5 min walk away for breakfast! "atlantic grille" I think was name - We went there 4 mornings in a row.

Newport is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Newport, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Newport hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
