We attended the Newport Folk Festival and found this hotel to be perfect for food options and walking to after shows (if we can get tickets). Parking was a bit iffy since we arrived late but the attendant was very helpful in finding a spot.

Our forever favorite

First of all, Michael at the front desk was excellent. Polite, professional and very informative. All staff interactions were very pleasant. My love, Dave Gleason and I have come here this week for the last 4 years to celebrate our anniversary and it never ever disappoints. This was the first year we had a walk-out courtyard room and it was amazing. The door is a little difficult to slide but it's an old hotel after all. The location is perfection. We look forward to returning year after year.

Great experience

A great location, right in the heart of it all, but still relaxing and quiet for great rest. We had a room on the second floor, facing the main road, so it was quiet. We loved the location- walkable to bars, restaurants, bakeries, the docks. Parking was available as we were a guest. We really enjoyed the hotel restaurant or just sipping coffee on the dock. Some family friendly things as well- giant Jenga, a pool, a grassy area by the docks with seating, fire pits.

The location of this property is ideal. It is located right on the harbor/marina and adjacent to Bowen's Wharf which includes many options for dining and shopping! The ammenities are great as well. Use of kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, backyard firepits, adirondack chairs, hammocks, indoor pool, etc.
