Wonderful stay! A wonderful breakfast was delivered to our room daily, the hotel was very walkable to all of the downtown areas (which is huge since parking in Newport is a nightmare), and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return!

We had a great stay at Mill Street Inn! The property is in such a great location - walking distance to SO many things, but still lovely and quiet location. We had one of the duplex townhouses that had a balcony which was amazing! Loved having breakfast delivered each morning and sitting out on the balcony enjoying the great weather! Can’t recommend enough!

Everything was amazing from start to finish at the Mill Street Inn. My husband and I don’t want to stay anywhere else when we visit Newport. It’s a wonderful hidden gem of a hotel. We absolutely loved our stay. The Inn has 3 suite options. studio, deluxe suite and townhouse suite (roof top balcony view). We stayed in a deluxe suite. It was great so clean, spacious and bed was so comfortable. Wifi was great no issues at all. It’s the perfect location for everything in the area. We walked to everything in town. It was truly a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Incredible hotel & best location

Such a great stay at the Mill Street Inn. Beautiful studio suite with comfortable bed and nice sitting area. We enjoyed the morning breakfasts. Staff was exceptional and the free sangria was a nice touch. Cannot beat the location being 1 block from all the wharf action and all the Newport shops. We will be back. I highly recommend the Mill Street Inn. Do not forget to check out the root top. Nice place to relax, drink or eat.

Stayed two nights on the first floor and loved the cleanliness and added touches the staff members provide (welcome gift bag, spa-style slippers!, flavored water, sangria, etc.). The breakfast was so good! We stayed at another inn in RI right before this stay and Mill Street Inn has the other beat. We easily walked to the Breakers, cliff walk, shops and restaurants in the harbor area. No issues with check-in or check-out, convenient parking. I would stay here again.

The Mill Street Inn is perfectly located for seeing Newport. The Inn is located one block from great restaurants and shops on Thames. If you walk two blocks the other direction you are at the Tram stop to take you out to Cliff Walk and the Gilded Age mansions. The staff was courteous and friendly. We were given maps and advise on dining out. The breakfast is delicious. We will always choose Mill Street Inn when coming to Newport.

This is a charming boutique hotel on a quiet street, surrounded by colonial homes. It is just blocks away from the Wharfs and restaurants. The rooms are loft style and spacious. Really a great location from walking to historic sites to shopping. It is a 10 minute drive to the famous Mansion area.
