The kitchen staff were very slow but friendly enough . Other than that it was very good

Clean rooms. Kitchen area needs a bit of an update. Beds were comfortable with newer linens. One small elevator that smelled of smoke and stairwell also smelled of smoke - probably some guest who wasn’t adhering to no smoking policy. Otherwise acceptable and good enough stay. Prices in the city a lot higher than I expected.

We had a wonderful stay for one night in the Quidi Vidi room. Then we came back at the end of our trip for four nights and stayed in Port Royal room, and this one was much bigger with bigger bathroom. Both rooms were on the first floor. The manor was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of yogurt, muffins, cereal, as well as eggs freshly made with toasts and bacon or sausage. Juice, coffee, tea and milk. The staff was very kind. We loved the location and plenty of parking. There was a sitting area inside and outside.

Great city and great hotel will be back

A warm, charming atmosphere in the house with history, thanks to the amazing hosts! Very clean and comfortable, suitable for families with young children. Fabulous breakfast and new local snacks in the shared living room every day, together with tea and coffee options. Unforgettable vacation for the whole family.

Staff were awesome; kind and accommodating. The hotel itself was well maintained and clean. Location was central to all the main downtown activities we wanted to explore i.e. Water St, George St, Jellybean Row, etc. Would recommend and would stay again.

The location of the property is great for retreat. There is a shortcoming thing though, you have to make reservations in order to enjoy dinner, no walking in dine..
