The Fox Tower at Foxwoods

"Convenient, attractive, but careless on details"
It's very convenient to stay at Fox Tower if you're attending an event in the casino complex. After a great concert, we were less stressed about taking time to choose a restaurant and have dinner, knowing that we didn't have to drive to another location to sleep. The room was spacious, clean, and attractive, with comfortable beds. The view of the woods from the 25th floor room was marvelous, although the streaked windows marred it a bit. Our main complaints had to do with amenities--the bathroom faucet looked beautiful, but turned out to have a crusted buildup around the edges where the water emerges. The flat-screen TV was a generous size but, for 20 minutes, the screen flickered and one helf was darker than the other. I was just about to call the front desk because it was becoming unwatchable, when the picture suddenly got brighter and remained steady, strong, and clear thereafter. If you like very thick pillows, you're in luck--but if you prefer or need a thinner one, that wasn't an option (at least not among the items provided in the room). Also, we didn't find rooms with king beds--only ones with two queen beds, which may make a difference to some couples. Lastly, when asked if you want a receipt at checkout, don't bother requesting one if you have a zero balance--it's useless. There's no financial information at all (about the total cost for your stay nor your zero balance). It has just the hotel address, your name, room number, and dates of your stay.

"Nice Hotel but full beds have to go. "
Everything was lovely but I would recommend that the full beds be upgraded to queen. Tough to get a good nights sleep in a full bed.

"Great hotel for a great price"
The hotel was perfect for our weekend getaway. It is literally in walking distance (long walk) to everything we wanted to do. We actually borrowed bikes at the hotel, free of charge, and rode around town to different attractions. The hotel room was nice, everything was super clean and totally inexpensive.

"Nice hotel close to the casino area!"
We arrived early (11:00am), figured we'd stop by to see if we could get early check in (which was at 3PM) and was pleasantly surprised when they told us they had two rooms ready for us!. Could use a little updating, but it was clean and the bed was comfy! They had a great breakfast the next morning (scrambled eggs, French toast, home fries, bacon, sausage, cereals, muffins, pastry, assorted juices and coffee. The staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay there again!

"Very nice hotel!"
I thought the hotel was above the norm as far as hotels go, and the room overall was very nice. However, during my stay at the hotel there was a burning smell that flowed throughout the room and the hallways soon after I arrived. I mentioned it to the front desk staff and the smell seemed to have been fixed for a while, but during the night I began to smell the burning smell again. I also called the front desk to mention it to them during the night, because a burning smell isn't normal. By the morning, I noticed the smell as I proceeded downstairs to check-out, so I'm not sure what's going on with that. The burning smell was the reason why I rated the hotel facilities and room comfort a "3". It was very noticeable and became uncomfortable, but I didn't want to move all of my things at 2 a.m. to another room that might've had the same thing going on.

Mystic is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Mystic, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Mystic hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
