Not a great experience.

Our stay at the Travelodge by Wyndham Ishpeming Marquette was scheduled for Saturday, June 27, but unfortunately, we never ended up staying due to a serious issue with accommodations and customer service. Prior to our arrival, I called the hotel to request a first-floor room because my husband had just been released from the hospital following a fall and was experiencing significant mobility issues. Although I made the reservation through a third-party booking site, I specifically contacted the hotel directly to ensure that a ground-floor room would be available. When we arrived, we were informed that no first-floor rooms were available. The closest room offered was in the middle of a hallway on an upper floor, which simply was not feasible given my husband's condition. The front desk instructed me to contact the third-party booking company for assistance. The booking company repeatedly attempted to work with the property, but communication was poor and inconsistent. We were told several times that a manager would return calls, only to later learn that the manager was unavailable. After multiple calls over several days, we were ultimately informed that no refund would be issued because we "should have requested a ground-floor room" during booking—even though I had called the hotel directly to make that request. Apparently, my request was never documented by hotel staff. As a result, we lost the cost of an expensive reservation and were left extremely disappointed

I had a nice stay at the Jasper Ridge Inn. I was there for three nights during the week while visiting my hometown and surrounding community. It was relatively comfortable and convenient enough. The beds are a little hard I will say. But it was fine for what I was needing. Will likely stay again.

The place was nice, the check in was easy. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that there was a weird smell upon entering the cabin and also one of the complimentary bottles of soap seemed opened and re used. Lastly there was like 3 flies just chillin inside on the large living area window. Other than that I do appreciate the cabins, they're cute and cozy I do wish they let people smoke out on the porch chairs provided. The rooms where clean so ill give them that for sure.

The hotel is ok. The room we were in felt and smelled moist. The laminate in the bathroom was peeling or missing. The door to the room was separated at the bottom and the bathroom door needed a good push to close as it was dragging on the tile. The main thing to be aware of is the bed is no more than 4 feet to the door and you hear EVERYTHING that is happening in the hallway. It was a place to stay, but will find somewhere else next time we come up.

The staff was welcoming and courteous. The building exterior needed renovation to match the interior nice accomodations.

This hotel got as high as a 3 only because the staff was so kind and helpful. The room was not clean, we walked in and it was 91 degrees on a 70 dress degree day, and the air conditioner was so loud we couldn’t run it while trying to sleep. My husband’s words… it sounded like a dying walrus. I understand that the hotel is under new ownership recently and it may get better in the future. To anyone on a strict diet, the breakfast offered contained no protein at all on Friday morning. I admit we did not check the other mornings. There was a table on one side of the bed only. Since my husband and I both use CPAPs, this was less than ideal. One side of the bed had only one outlet available. We had to purchase an extension cord to charge my phone and use my CPAP. I will say the staff was helpful and came relatively quickly to fix the heat issue, but we would have like to sleep with the air on.
