Gem in Carmel

Nice accommodations, easy/friendly checkin, ample onsite self-parking, comfortable bed, nice layout of the property, convenient onsite dining at Shearwater - bartender was great and made a special accommodation GF appetizer. Ecco-friendly, including wooden keys and no plastic water bottles. Highly recommend!

Don’t judge a book by the cover. Although this property is near a gas station, it is renovated and offers great onsite food and stellar service with a touch of luxury. They are dog friendly as well.

Really clean, a nice pool and well appointed room. The water pressure in the shower is disappointing though and it is also not fun paying 30 USD a day for car parking, when most people visiting are on road trips and there is a massive car park, so no need to charge people this much. The facilities fee of $10 a day is also silly - you can’t opt out of using the wifi, pool and gym and avoid paying, so why not just build this into your daily rate?

The bedroom was very well decorated and the layout was perfect. The bed was comfortable - allowing us to catch up on much needed sleep. The cleaning staff tried to rush us out the morning of check-out. That was the only issue we had for our two day stay. We will be back! Very accessible to all the great things Carmel has to offer.

Very friendly staff and beautiful property. Only thing lacking was decent in room coffee and creamer choices, we were thinking that was so we would come down and purchase it in their restaurant. One bit of advice I would give is to request a room away from the pool; our room faced it and it was a rowdy crowd right up until closing time; so loud we couldn't properly enjoy our movie. Still a great stay and if we are ever able to come back we would stay there again.
