we enjoyed the stay the full kitchen served the purpose of my family with kids so we can cook some hot meals and yes the hot tub and sauna was cherry on the cake it helped us relax after a tiring hiking day

Absolutely great. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Very spacious, spotless clean, totally fell in love with the floors. The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Greatvplace to stay. The room on the 5th floor have a great view, and had all in-room amenities one would expect. The front desk staff in particular was super friendly and helpful. Due to big tour groups breakfast was a little crowded, but the staft still managed to refill everything expediently. One observation to note is that the hotel, although sounding icelandic, is internationally staffed. So stick to the front desk for questions..

Great place if you need to stay in Reykjavik with your family. Can't beat the location, it is very close to everything: few steps away from a famous bagel place and at least half a dozen of restaurants, literally across the street from the old port and bus stop #4, only few minutes away from a center city and at least 2 grocery stores. Apartment is clean and spacious for 4 people and has all the essentials including full kitchen and washing machine. One thing to note: hot water has a pretty strong sulfur smell (it seems to be the case in many places in Reykjavik). Didn't bother me much but my wife and daughter kind of hated it. There is no designated parking lot but plenty of street parking nearby and we were mostly walking everywhere.
