wknd for a wedding. Resort reached out via expedia. when I responded they were unresponsive. had to call on the Day of Check-In. completely unhelpful my 1st 2 calls being disconnected when supposedly transferring...my 3rd call I spoke with a woman, whose name is written down at work, she said she didnt know the answer but thought it was no. but I could try... I asked if it mattered that I had Veteran, AARP, AAA... then her response changed & transferred me to concierge for assistance. they weren't sure why that occurred. they sent a msg to a Manager, Gabby called back. was able to answer the questions, on the process if we opted to bring the dog. no one mentioned the utter chaos that check in is at this resort. I looked at the rating of the bldg they were putting us in, 1.5 stars. I inquired if Metz knew it had such a poor rating /why? No... the beds appeared clean. But I woke up with bites on my hand. both the rug & bathroom floor so dirty you can feel it /see it on your feet. Door chain broken, overall ragged maintenance. charged more for my Dog, which is covered by insurance.. then put me in subpar accommodations for the same price of what was supposed to be a comfortable resort stay. Outside of Gabby, the Concierge the staff wasn't helpful or knowledgeable. we called the Desk both nights, Ashley doesn't appear to know anything, Refuses to even try. I also rec'd a msg from a manager my card wasnt run, when I provided it at check in.. Disappointed is being gracious

Our time at Massanutten Sumit Resort was great, thought there were a few issues that need to be addressed. First of all our condo door (condo 128L)stuck ever time we opened it. You had to give it an extra shove. It took a while for the hot water to get hot. In the write up there was a mentioning of a dvd player in the condo, there was no dvd player in our condo. And we had to put water in the washer to get it to wash. Overall, like I said we made the best of things and we had a great time. And look forward to coming back again.

Only place my phone was attached to WiFi and my phone was hacked.
