On a positive note upgrades and repairs have been attempted. This motel is ok as long as you bring Kleenex, shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer, as these items are not provided. If you don't like the very little bars of soap please feel free to bring your own. You may wish to bring some disinfecting wipes as the posted signs indicate that the rooms are cleaned on Mondays and Thursdays but this appears to be flexible as ours was not cleaned during our 5 day stay. Make sure you wear your shoes or dark colored socks as the floor darkens your socks. The molding around the door needs repair as the light shines in and there is a hole big enough for a mouse. If you are concerned about safety don't worry the police seem to patrol regularly.

It was a much needed, relaxing stay. The food was great, and the whole staff was excellent!

After several disappointing experiences at other hotels, I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived. Thankfully, this stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel was quiet, which was exactly what I needed, and everything was exceptionally clean—a huge relief and one of the most important factors for any stay. The staff was also friendly, welcoming, and efficient, making the entire experience even better. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Connecticut.

My husband and I booked a last-minute weekend getaway at Avon Old Farms Inn, and we absolutely loved every minute of our stay. The atmosphere was so relaxing that it almost felt like being on a cruise, everything was taken care of, and we were able to truly unwind. A special thank you to Chef Chris, whose culinary skills made every meal exceptional. The food was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. We also want to recognize JG, our server and bartender, who was warm, friendly, and genuinely delightful. His outstanding service and personality made our stay even more enjoyable and truly memorable. We can't wait to return and highly recommend Avon Old Farms Inn for anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming getaway!

Hampton inn was so nice! The staff were friendly and they have a shuttle that picked us up at the airport. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Always a comfortable and clean property. Have never had an issue staying here! Only disappointment was that the pool was closed for necessary maintenance - with the extreme heat, a dip in the pool would have been nice.
