Staff at front desk both at night when arrived and next morning when checking out were very friendly. Breakfast was adequate. The room was clean but hotel is outdated. Overall was worth money spent.

This hotel has been my choice any time I’ve had to stay in Cheyenne. The staff has always been courteous, competent & willing to help. The amenities are great, especially for the average price charged. My only suggestions for this owner would be: 1. provide a few basic items for cooking & eating. A full kitchen is wonderful but if you don’t carry your own utensils (& unless you know you need to, you don’t), it defeats the purpose of having the kitchen appliances to begin with. Even if they were offered at a minor upcharge, that would help. 2. Be sure when you book that your dates are correct. I accidentally put in the wrong dates & the only recourse you have is to pay their penalty fee(which turns out to be what you’ve already paid) & pay an additional booking fee which is not discounted at all. As a loyal customer, I would think they could allow someone an honest mistake without penalties & additional fees. That experience has led me to considering other options when I travel to Cheyenne on future trips.

The room was great! The ponds were great for kids to fish. The restaurant was ok. Very beautiful views. However the lodge was really nice…. But had very thin walls! I could hear people walking around all night up stairs. I could hear talking and even snoring through the walls. Oh and the ice machine would go off all hours of the night. Very loud.

This was probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Holes in the wall and ceiling, toilet didn’t work when we first got there, the grounds had tons of dog poop, towels had stains, bedding had holes, beds were very uncomfortable. Staff tried their best but it’s tough to polish a turd…

Showed up after hours to find a cabin with no bedding. Called the after hours number, left message and no call back or response of any kind. Emailed thru Expedia asking for a refund.

Not recommended horrible all around no working lights tv half remodeled room

Always a favorite for the prices and friendliness.
