"Great view, and good location"
The hotel has fantastic views of Taal Lake, and the hotel is walking distance to Sky Ranch and to several highly recommended restaurants, and the rooms at Escala are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is still finishing up the spa, gym, and terrace gardens...We can't wait to stay again when they complete the rest of their facilities.

"A hotel with a nice view of the Taal Volcano"
Very accommodating staff. It has a great view of the Taal Volcano. The hotel is old and needs renovation or maybe repainting to make it more appealing to the guests.

"Convenient place for the purpose it was booked"
We booked this hotel for a 2 night's stay to attend a wedding in Caleruega church and the wedding reception at HillCreek. The place is convenient with a starbucks and supermarket beside it and with many restaurants around. The water sink in the shower however was not working which caused the water to overflow. Although it was immediately attended and tidied by the housekeeping staff, the same problem occurred the following day. Also upon cleaning, all the toiletries were cleared with no replacement. Nonetheless, toiletries came in handy upon request. A parking was available at the basement which makes it convenient, however, the entire basement stinks so badly, we had to run upon riding or alighting. On the first night, the staff explained that it was the garbage that was just collected. We expected the following day that the stinking smell would be gone but not so. Thus, we preferred to park in front of the entrance of the hotel which is spacious enough.

"Clean Quiet Hotel"
It is a nice hotel tucked away from the busy main street of Tagaytay. The room & bathroom were clean, staff helpful. Great place to stay if you want to be away ftom the hustle & bustle of Tagaytay but easily accessible to all of it. All just a short drive.

"Almost Perfect Getaway"
It was nice. Something that I expected because of the location and the weather. But the little things could have made a difference. Parking area was quiet far from tower 2 where we stayed. Understood that it comes with a fee but the back and forth walk, especially when you're carrying grocery bags made it so inconvenient. The unit doesn't smell right I had to request for an air freshener. More importantly, it wasn't a good night sleep for me because of the bed.

"Nice hotel at the middle of TAGAYTAY "
Hotel Monticello is a small hotel at the middle of Tagaytay City. It's new and clean and decently decorated. The staff are all nice and polite and generally helpful. I haven't tried the free breakfast as I opted to sleep. The only feedback we have is, although we got a veranda room, there is nothing to see from the veranda. There is just the street along and an old demolished structure next to the hotel. The hotel maintenance should also check their lighting system. Although the hotel is just a year-old, lights like in our room were busted. One good thing about the hotel though is, there is good insulation, such that despite the cars/trucks and tricycles plying the street across, we didn't hear their noises inside our room.

Tagaytay is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Tagaytay, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Tagaytay hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
