"Great Hotel in a very convenient hotel"
Even though a frequent visitor to Gdansk - this was the first time I had the pleasure of staying at Scandic Hotel. It is a great value for money luxurious hotel that has a spa and restaurant in the premises. The hotel is across the street from the main train station and has a small shopping centre next to it as well as a cinema. The hotel is a 5 minute drive to old town and is also about 5 mins by car to the shopping centre Galleria Baltycka. The staff at the hotel was friendly, multi-lingual, and professional. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and sound proofed. Overall a great hotel that I would love to go back to.

"City centre hotel "
We booked a double room, but upon arrival given a twin room, after a complaint down at reception we were moved to a double room. The location is excellent for a visit to Gdansk, straight into the town centre. The breakfast was adequate, staff were friendly enough but slow and was the only restaurant we visited that struggled with English language . Room was comfortable and clean. Night time lacked any atmosphere in the bar area so we kept out, in fact the hotel felt empty with not a lot people, this was strange as the reception staff said the hotel was full at check-in. I don't know if I would give the hotel 5star status didn't have a wow factor, but definitely a good 4star, I would stay again due to the location at the price I paid.

"The Beethoven Hotel."
It is a small , quiet and very comfortable hotel. It is spotlessly clean through and the staff are very friendly & helpful. The bedroom was very comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities., it also has a small fridge. The breakfast was mostly continental but we enjoyed cereals & toast with a limited amount of fresh fruit. The hotel is on a bus route & Gdansk old town is very accessible. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Gdansk.

"Superb for kids!"
Last weekend I stayed overnight at this hotel with my 2 year old son. It's located 5 min walk from the seafront and 10 minutes walk to the main high street. Staff are very friendly, helpful and well mannered. My son has got an alergy and I brought in my own meal for him. I was allowed to warm it up in the kitchen with no problem, which was very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and the hotel overall was quiet offering a relaxing environment. Very nice interior, lovely restaurant area and well equipped bar. The highlight for us was the Pirate Room for kids with a balls pool, toys and games which my son loved. Perfect alternative if the weather is not so great. I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back next year.

"Location Location Location"
It's hard to tell from maps but this hotel is literally right over the small bridge to the entrance to the main town. If it was any closer.. it would BE in the main town. People make remarks about dirty streets or all the work they are doing right in front of the hotel.. big deal.. never was an issue. In fact, it's nice to see all the stonework they are laying down on the streets & sidewalks and not just pouring cement down to get it done quick & cheap. I didn't hear any excessive noise and the taxis were able to drop me off and pick me up 3 steps from the front door of the hotel. I also felt safe walking around at night. That being said, although the room was a nice size (I was a solo traveler by the way).. i couldn't believe how small and far away the tv was -even with my glasses on I could barely see the screen. I would comment on the size of the shower as being sort of small, but I think that may be the norm in Poland b/c I had the same situation in a high end hotel in another city. The hotel is not ultra modern nor does it claim to be. The bed was comfortable and really that's most important. My only minor complaint is that there is an odd scent/ smell in the main lobby area. Not bad but odd. Thankfully it didn't permeate anywhere else so it's all good. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again based on location, price... did i mention location/ price? Seriously, it was fine

Long Street is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Long Street, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Long Street hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
