"The Beethoven Hotel."
It is a small , quiet and very comfortable hotel. It is spotlessly clean through and the staff are very friendly & helpful. The bedroom was very comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities., it also has a small fridge. The breakfast was mostly continental but we enjoyed cereals & toast with a limited amount of fresh fruit. The hotel is on a bus route & Gdansk old town is very accessible. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Gdansk.

"High quality hotel."
That hotel is just seems to have been finished two months ago: all the elements of the room (furnitures, decoration, bathroom) were just in absolutely perfect condition. The AC was working perfectly and was quiet. The house keeping was perfect, very efficient (room cleaned up in two hours without a particular request to get it done fast). The location is perfect: the train station is across the street, the Old Town 10 mn walk away. Do not ne concerned by the busy street: noise insulation is incredible. I did not have breakfast or dinner in the restaurant, but they re-opened the bar and found me croissants at 3 pm, even if I was the only customer. Staff is adorable, smiling, helpful, but not intrusive. Overall, this is a superb value hotel with a tag price very low compared to what it offers to its customers. I will certainly stay there at my next trip to Gdansk.

"Hotel staff could not have been more helpful. "
Even though we had a car, it was so much easier to take the tram into old town. Easy to do. The stop, however does not have a sign, so you have to watch where you are! Hotel was really great!

"Gdansk for Weekend"
Hotel was small but charming. Room was a decent size and clean. Central Gdansk is about a 25 minute walk but there are trams nearby if you don't mind using public transport.

"Modern, clean apartment close to the old town"
We stayed in a studio apartment 5 minutes walk away from the old town centre. The well-equipped kitchen and bedroom were all in one large room, with an ensuite bathroom. The place was modern and simply but effectively decorated. Only two problems: 1) There is a small-print fee to pay when you arrive at the apartment, in addition to the Expedia price. 2) It took us about an hour(!) to find the apartment on arrival. This is because we were only told the street number, not the apartment block nor the room number, let alone the code to get into the building! So only after several calls backwards and forwards did they finally let us know where to go and how to get in. Once we were in and paid the up-front fee, everything went smoothly.

"Could have been perfect"
The apartment itself was excellent. Small kitchen area, dining table, 2 settees that turn into beds, large screen TV, bedroom with 2 single beds and bathroom with shower and washing machine. Spotlessly clean. It's a 2 minute walk to the main street, however it isn't well lit at night and there are potholes so tread carefully. There is a bar right next door and if you want to sleep with your window open you might struggle. It is a nice bar though. What disappointed us was that they are in the process of renovating the flat directly underneath us and they started banging and drilling by 8.30am every morning except Sunday. When we complained to the owner he said that it was normal to start work at that time, when I pointed out that we were on holiday he just shrugged and had a grin on his face. We understand that they need to get the work completed but there was no mention of renovation work when we booked or even when we checked in.

Gdansk is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Gdansk, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Gdansk hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
