This is my 3rd visit to Krakow. The Sheraton Grand is situated in the heart of the city at the bottom of Wawel Castle. The views from the rooftop bar are stunning. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient - they arranged a tour for us while we were there and confirmed our car to the airport for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I chose this hotel because of the pool and the gym - we were travelling with our 8 year old daughter who loves swimming, so a pool was a must. Both the pool and gym were small, but had everything we needed in them. We made full use of the facilities while we were there - thus making the stay at the Sheraton Grand, as opposed to another hotel in the area, worth it. Previous hotels I have stayed at in Krakow include - The Radisson Blue - lovely hotel but no pool and - Qubus - another good hotel, but the Sheraton was better. The food at the hotel was lovely, the cocktails we tried (Manhattan, whiskey sour and long island iced tea) delicious but pricey.

Been to this hotel on numerous occasions since 2005. Just 5/7 minutes walk from main square (Rynek Glowny) and within easy walking distance from river, museums, wawel castle, railway station, bus station and shopping malls. Exceptionally hot for this time of year (33/34 Celsius). All types of rooms are excellent value, we upgraded to a junior suite for this break - very spacious. Good breakfast selection, but we were disappointed that bacon and mushrooms were not still on the menu. But all in all a great holiday destination.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were really friendly and all had great English which really helped us. They answer all our questions and had great recommendations for places to eat, drink and go and see. Warsaw is a great city and I would recommend staying in the Hilton if you are visiting.

We booked a double room, but upon arrival given a twin room, after a complaint down at reception we were moved to a double room. The location is excellent for a visit to Gdansk, straight into the town centre. The breakfast was adequate, staff were friendly enough but slow and was the only restaurant we visited that struggled with English language . Room was comfortable and clean. Night time lacked any atmosphere in the bar area so we kept out, in fact the hotel felt empty with not a lot people, this was strange as the reception staff said the hotel was full at check-in. I don't know if I would give the hotel 5star status didn't have a wow factor, but definitely a good 4star, I would stay again due to the location at the price I paid.

Great location on Motlawa river close to many restaurants and historical sites. Nice outdoor patio in front of hotel and roof deck with great view. My wife enjoyed the pool and ability to use hotel's parking (although not cheap) was a big plus. Overall, we had very pleasant experience.
