I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Gdansk at the Hilton hotel. It's a beautiful historic city which has been renovated superbly following the catastrophic bombings of WW2. The architecture and souvenir shops of Ulica Mariacka (Gdansk's finest street) are wonderful to explore. Walking down the main street of Dlugi Targ/Ulica Dluga is a pleasant experience during the day and evening. Don't miss the main town hall and Artus Court. Great restaurants are near the hotel (e.g. Fellini and Prologue). Reception were helpful at booking tables for me with notable mention to Piotr. I secured a cheap rate and could not fault the Hilton except for a wedding which continued past 1 a.m. on Saturday night. The music gravitated up the atrium and was noisy. Despite being on the top floor it sounded like the event was outside my door. On the other two nights I did not hear a sound. Poland is excellent value for money.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel, and all was wonderful. Great location, delicious breakfasts, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant, and it was very good. This is where I would stay for any return visits to Gdansk.

"Lovely hotel, staff really kind helpful and happy."
The hotel galaxy was really lovely, staff helpful and cheerful. It positioning was just on the edge of the town.15 minute walk to town square. We found the best way so didn't get lost was to follow the river and then cut down on the main road. The square was great buzzy atmosphere, lots to eat and shops to ponder over.Autschitz was a must would say to go with guide as they tell the story so well as you move around, a Sombre and but interesting visit that really brought the reality to this horrific act to the forefront.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would say to anyone they should go.
Hotel has a great spa free of charge we steamed our tired feet away then into the jacuzzi ..lovely.
