Enjoyable stay, even sorted out lost room keys quickly

Room great and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast options very good and very tasty Would stay again if in the area

Clean room. Shower needed attention & water in tap was a trickle. Had to re-tune the TV. View front bedroom window was a bit bland. But overall, a decent hotel.

Beds are damaged ,my kids are complaining their back is hurting from the bed,I checked underneath the mattress theirs some towels under mattress is holding the mattress up cause the bed is already damaged

We were there for my wife’s birthday for two nights, they ran out of all beer and we had to wrap the night up early, really poor as we have been coming there for years

The hotel is promoted to be grand and up market and the reality is that it’s so run down and in serious need of renovation. Every room has its own unique bad smell; corridors - musky, lift - BO, restaurant - indescribable but stale would resemble it. The whole place is dark and dingy, sparse and difficult to see how it’s sustainable. I appreciate the history of the building but I’ve never experienced anything like this… it was like a rabbit warren of run down office doors and endless empty unused spaces and corridors. Some areas were being renovated but left uncovered and an eyesore. Really disappointing as I booked it for a special birthday surprise… a surprise is what we got and it wasn’t welcomed.

Excellent 2 night stay in Superior Room overlooking the fields. Massive room with air con, all facilities & amenities 10/10 - restaurant & breakfast top notch, patio area was great in the warm weather. By far the best hotel stay in the area, we’ve tried them all !

Edward stood out as an exceptionally helpful member of staff. So informative, friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. He went above and beyond and we were very grateful as it was our first visit to Cardiff. We had a deluxe room which was very comfortable, executive lounge was an added bonus. Breakfast was amazing, plenty of of choice.
