Honestly 10\10 what a great hotel

A nice clean hotel with large rooms. My only complaints would be the £10 charge to use the swimming pool (yes, it included the sauna and steam room but I only wanted to swim). Also the reception desk was not staffed when we tried to check out just after 0800hrs on the Sunday morning.

A brilliant location within a short walking distance to the train and bus station and the Castle and other attractions. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The bedroom had a lovely comfortable bed (although a little creaky!) and the bathroom had everything you needed. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice.

The hotel is very nice, however some aspects could do with updating. The main problem is not having air-conditioning. The bedrooms were boiling and so uncomfortable for sleeping. When we asked about the air-conditioning vents not working properly we were told the air-conditioning doesn't work its just a fan.
