A great spot located walking distance to the Nice Centre-Ville station. Extremely friendly staff that were helpful and accommodating. The common space where they have breakfast in the morning was also a spot where groups could hang out during the rest of the day. Overall, a great option for a hotel stay closer to the train station.

Very convenient location with stunning views. My husband and i had drinks on the rooftop every night of our stay, overlooking the stunning waters. The stuff was amazing, so friendly, polite and accommodating. Very happy with our stay there.

I have stayed in so many five stars hotels, but this hotel is the best for every thing.

I stayed at this hotel 9 years ago, which was the main reason I re-booked. It has a fantastic location very close to the beach and has some incredible views out to sea and along the Promenade des Anglais to downtown Nice. It has a nice breakfast and dinner restaurant with a cozy bar, but extra charges for some breakfast items is not really justifiable at a 4 Star. The hotel has an impressive spa/indoor pool although it is not part of the hotel and prices are a little steep both for treatments and pool access. Pool access charged at 30 euros per hour is not value for money and again, isn't really justifiable at a 4 star hotel. Unfortunately, we had a significant bathroom problem the first night on arrival when maintenance had gone home for the day. Night staff had no real answer to the issue and we were moved the next day. However, we were moved to a smaller room and then to a temporary room until another room became available. We had to pack and re-pack 3 times and although some compensation was offered, it was our anniversary and rather spoiled the trip. Other maintenance was being carried out in adjoining rooms. Carpets were damp on arrival and this should have alerted us. Management and Staff are nice people and tried to make amends, but the hotel is in need of a refurb and could be a very special hotel. Basically, this is a 4 Star in danger of dropping to 3 unless it takes on board client feedback. More modern hotels nearby offer more at comparable prices.

First the positive. The room was clean, quiet and a short walk to the beach. Now the negative. Upon arrival there was a security gate to enter through. A numbered keypad and call button were located there. After many attempts all the call button did was ring. No one picked it up. I tried the phone number listed on the hotels.com website. That didn’t work either. Frustrated I decided to climb over the gate. The front desk person then came out. He apologized, saying he knew the call button was inoperative. Seriously? He couldn’t leave the gate unlocked? There was another secure door with a keypad at the hotel entrance. The hotel has no lift, so you have to lug your baggage in our case up stairs to the third floor. The room was obviously an attic space converted to a room. Sloping ceilings and wood beams. If you’re over 4 feet, you will hit your head getting out of bed. The A/C produced virtually nothing cold. The room was hot, at least 80 F. The front desk is unmanned after 8PM, so there’s no resolution to problems. A hostel would be much better value. No way would I stay again or recommend this hotel. I don’t often complain, but this hotel was an insult.

Beautiful old property within the walls of a beautiful old town. Comfy beds robes free cold drinks and fresh sweets left in the room. I felt spoiled.
