Lovely spot just outside of Rethymno. Staff were excellent. Accommodation was lovely. Fantastic food.

She consistently went above and beyond and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. I’d also like to recognize the incredible breakfast team. Their friendliness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Exceptional service is what transforms a great hotel into an unforgettable experience, and the team at Vertali did exactly that. This was a lovely hotel and the staff were courteous, extremely attentive and very kind. Have to mention Manos who went out of his way many times to help us and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was an absolute star and we are very grateful for his help. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful beaches and very close to Chania. Our room was very clean, a little dark due to not getting any sun on the balcony, but this did keep it cool. It is a small hotel and we felt the only negative was it was very quiet at night, but many people would prefer this anyway. The area itself is fairly quiet at night as many people go into Chania. There is a bus to Chania a couple of minutes walk round the corner, it can get very busy. Noticed the sign on the bus said 31 people seating, up to 59 standing so at times it is not the most pleasant journey. Bus journey takes about 15/20 minutes. The pool area was very well managed, better than i have seen at some other hotels. There was never a fight for beds as the hotel staff remove used towels and replace with fresh new ones, so there was a turnover all day. It is adults only which makes it very peaceful. Breakfast was ok and there is something differant to try every day. You order from a menu rather than a buffet situation.

Wasn’t a “beach” hotel as advertised, no beach amenities at all, difficult to even get a sunbed by the pool as everyone reserves them so early despite hotel “policy” not allowing it. Sadly cannot understand how it’s rated so highly.

We had an amazing stay at Paralos Venus Suites! The food was absolutely incredible, and Julian at the bar and Katerina were both amazing. They made our experience even more special with their kindness and great service. Our room was perfect, and I especially loved having YouTube Premium on the TV — such a nice touch! The property itself is beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained. My only complaints were that there weren’t always enough cabanas around the pool, so on some days it was difficult to find somewhere to sit. I also wish the servers came down to the pool more frequently to take drink orders. One thing to know is that the property does not have a private beach. The beach is about a 7-minute walk away, and beach chairs with an umbrella are available to rent for €30. We also loved having a little corner store nearby, and the car rental place was super convenient and only about €40 for the day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The food was amazing, the staff were wonderful, and the property was beautiful. We would absolutely come back! ❤️

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Domus Blanc, beautiful boutique hotel that is really well located and walking distance from most main attractions. The staff was amazing and we are especially grateful for Anna who really went out of her way to make our stay memorable.
