"Nice hotel in good location"
The room was lovely. Breakfast was incredible. Vassio squeezed us each a glass of fresh orange juice as soon as we entered the breakfast area and was so nice and friendly. The food was made with local ingredients and was excellent. Yianni at the front desk was also super nice and very helpful. The only negative comment I have is that we asked for an additional luggage holder when we checked in and the lady at the front desk, who I did not find to be very friendly, told us that there's only one per room. Since the hotel did not seem to be even half full (due to it being off season), I didn't expect it to be an issue to move a luggage holder from an empty room to our room.

"On the beach"
This was our second year at the Iria. We did not realize, however, that, compared to last year, this year's prices had doubled. We did not get rooms that were as good as last year's. We booked 2 triples and one double and ended up with 2 triples when we extended our vacation by 3 days. The one of the triples we ended up with (#75) was terrible. Adjacent to the restaurant of the hotel, the room smelled like fried fish when/if a window stayed open. A loud banging noise would also start around 3:30-4:00 0'clock and go on until 6-7 at night. We reported this to the reception, but nothing came out of it. The cleaning lady assigned to room 75 did not do a good job, perhaps because the Iria was short-staffed. The bath are looked dingy, dirty towels were left in the Jacuzzi, toilet paper was not enough, toiletries were left in the room stingily, etc. Definitely # 75 was not worth the money we paid for it. The staff at Iria are wonderful. Mrs. Anna, the lady in charge of breakfast at the Iria, is the sweetest, most patient and kindest person on the island, who is there all by herself to deal with breakfast for the entire hotel. Maria, at the reception, was as wonderful as last year. Adjacent to the hotel is its restaurant called Palatia. Avoid it. It is slow, stingy and rude. Go eat at other places along the beach. Research other hotels in the neighborhood with better rates.

"Nice hotel near the beach"
The hotel is a short walk to the beach. Much like others, we visited the beach cafe, ordered a drink and sat on the sand with their bean bags. Better than spending 10 euro on an umbrella and chair. The hotel's staff and owners are very warm and accommodating. They know how to treat a guess. Only downside is the poor aircon in the room. Was a bit warm in the night. Overall a pleasant stay with some real nice host.

"Beautiful hotel close to beach and shopping"
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our ferry was delayed and they kindly kept us informed about the next steps to take. The hotel was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was close to the beach and to shopping in the village.

"Beautiful hotel right across the beach "
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was super comfortable , very clean , right across the beach . very nice breakfast that included everything (eggs , fruits , multiple kinds of breads , cakes , yogurt , pies , donuts , coffee, tea, juices etc) . The one and big disappointment was the surcharge of 8 euros for the use of beach beds to the beach of the hotel. So for a morning coffee by the beach the hotel charged me 3 euros for the coffee and 8 for the beach bed that I was sitting !!! It wouldn't suprise me if they start charging for the table you use to eat !! Totally unacceptable !

Naxos is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Naxos, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Naxos hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
