L'Escarene Vacation Packages

The best thing about this hotel is its location - very convenient, for sure. There are two disagreeable things about this hotel: 1 - the Wi-Fi was very exasperating. We were continually cut off, forcing us to continually restart. 2 - the setting for the breakfast. By now, the management must have observed that the allocated space is not sufficient for the number of guests. In addition, clearly no one is looking closely at how guests must navigate the space in order to serve themselves breakfast. An example is trying to understand why the plates and forks are placed within an area that is out-of-reach for most guests as they begin to serve themselves. This is because that side of the buffet area is blocked in by tables. I would not stay in this hotel again. There are some friendly staff members of various countries working there, but they are not responsible for the problems we experienced.

This place is in the perfect location, with two entrances - one near the water and one part way up the hill. The room was huge and the soaked tub in the bathroom after walking those hills was so nice.

Location is fantastic.. right next to major shopping and walkable to the restaurants and bars along the promenade (seaside boulevard). Bathroom was a bit small, but bed was nice and overall the room and hotel quality (including breakfast) was very good.

Lots to like about this hotel. The staff were great, hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Coffee maker , kettle , tea, coffee and a small free mini bar are very nice extras as well as a coffee and cakes available every afternoon in reception. The breakfast was extra but good value. We had a room with a balcony / sea view which was lovely- it's just very noisy sitting out as the hotel is on the main road . With the windows shut however you can hardly hear any noise . Parking is provided at a cost ( 25 euros per day on site or 15 euros in a secure car park 5 minutes walk away)- I think you would need to pre book in high season. The hotel is just on the outskirts of Menton so a mile to the Centre and maybe 2 miles to the old town which is lovely. Lots of restaurants in the centre and on the promenade along the route. We enjoyed l'avenue in particular. The only slight issue we had was that the room smelled of cigarette smoke on arrival - the staff thought it may be due to people smoking on nearby balconies? It wasn't pleasant but the staff offered sprays for the room etc and it faded after a few days but as smoking is allowed on balconies , if people leave doors open it may drift into the room. The hairdryer is also rubbish so if you need one I would take your own. Again the very helpful staff lent me one for a few days. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it .

Really great place in incredible marina setting with wonderful views and wonderful facilities. The room and all communal areas had perfect views of the sea and plenty of areas to relax and appreciate the surrounding. Highly recommend

I booked this hotel because it has beautiful views of the park, is a 3 minute walk from the beach and has 24 hour concierge. The hotel was very helpful with my pre-stay requirements. On our stay, the hotel staff were knowledgable and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Nice.
