"Amazing onsen experience"
Good getaway from the main cities. Comfortable living arrangements and an amazing onsen experience. This hotel has access to another onsen within a short walk (<3min). English friendly staff. Delicious buffet. Only complaint is that it's really far from the train/subway, looking at 14-18mins of uphill walking. I'd recommend finding a hotel shuttle

"Amazing experience!!"
This place is incredible!! We enjoyed in room massage and dinner, the hot springs and hospitality. We wore our kimono the entire visit and loved all of the food. Quick walk to Shuzenji Temple and the bamboo grove. Great shops, amazing views and pure luxury!

"Great food "
Off peak season visit, free upgrade to room with ensuite onsen. Room was clean, spacious, awesome. Free hotel Wifi available even in room. Managed to get half board - Japanese breakfast and dinner was mind blowing, the only caveat being: one should be used to the Japanese diet of sashimi and vegetables with various interesting condiments, minimal meat. Hotel staff are friendly, helpful and also provide free transport to and from the nearest train station, kowakidani. The only slightly disappointing issue was the public onsen - water had sediments. Not sure if this is the usual case as we are new to the onsen experience, but it certainly did not add to the relaxation. Otherwise, will definitely be back again should we pop by this part of the world.

"Unforgettable Stay in Gotemba"
My wife and myself were greeted warmly by the staff upon arrival. As we were too early for checking in (check in time @ 3pm), we were chauffered by the hotel car (booking required and operated from. 10am to 6pm) to the Gotemba Premium Outlet. Upon check-in in the evening, we were guided by the courteous staff who brought us to the room. The room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. The beds were sufficiently comfortable for a good night sleep. The breakfast served at the restaurant (included in our stay) was very well presented and tasty. We had tried both Japanese and western breakfast. We were happy with the stay and would recommend even family with children to stay here.

"Great Hotel Next to Numazu JR Station"
The hotel is new as it just opened its doors a few months ago. Spacious and clean business hotel compared to the ones in Tokyo and definitely a great location for a few days stay to your shopping at Gotemba Premium Outlet.

"Worth the Splurge!"
This place was about a 20-25 minute uphill walk to the ryokan (or you can just call for the shuttle). When we entered, the staff was extremely friendly and and spoke a decent amount of English. They sat us down to check us in and brought all the paperwork to us. Then we chose a time for dinner. I chose 8pm so I had enough time to enjoy the baths! We got to our room and it was a pretty standard hotel room with 2 Japanese style twin beds, but we had our own private onsen with a pretty nature-y view! However, I got in my Yukata and went to the public baths right away. There was 1 outdoor and 3 indoor ones, but it really hit's the spot since a couple of them had jets and I was sore from all that walking on my trip already. It was simple and no frills, but just what I needed. Needless to say, I came back the next morning as well. Dinner was a 10 course traditional meal and breakfast was a meal set. We really couldn't beat it; especially with the price we paid! Everything was timeless and beautifully presented. The food was elegant and delicious. A great way to end our night and start off our morning! I seriously could not have asked for a better experience and highly recommend.

"A true Ryokan experience"
Absolutely amazing experience from being greeted outside the door to the rooms with names. The staff is absolutely amazing and accommodating. Dinner was 9 courses of traditional fare and the staff was willing to add some miso in case our kids didnt like the offerings (which they did mostly). The rooms have true picture windows and in the morning we got a real treat with Mt Fuji in all its glory. The springs are gender split but in this ryokan they are indoor only. Suggest walking to the outdoor one in the adjacent prince hotel.

Izunokuni is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Izunokuni, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Izunokuni hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
