I have stayed here at least 7 or 8 times and this is our favorite resort. I love the location, beach, food and drink, and service. We truly have no complaints about anything at Privilege and we will continue to stay there whenever possible. We love the street view rooms, and love to watch the activity in the city from our balcony. A warning to some....the street view room is louder than the garden/pool view rooms but we don't mind this at all. Thanks to all the wonderful people who make our stay there a terrific one.

Most amazing all-inclusive that I have ever stayed at! Most beautiful beach in the world. Calm, baby blue, sparkling and no seaweed! The staff is hospitable, intelligent and hard-working. The rooms are like gorgeous, clean condos. The resort is quiet, relaxing with only 3 restaurants that serve amazing food. There are no kids, no casinos, no discos, just pure relaxation! The food is excellent. The alcoholic drinks are also amazing. I cannot wait to go back! I honestly felt like we were living in luxury and I have never been more relaxed.

We have visited Isla Mujeres a number of times and heard a lot about this hotel. It is very quiet. Nice facility that is well maintained and very clean. We did choose the breakfast option as part of our booking. I have never been to a place with so much choice for breakfast. This hotel is located on the busy north end of the island so if you rent a golf cart, it is difficult to find parking. We would definitely stay again.

Privilege Alexus

This was our second stay there and just like the first time we had issues with our key cards to access our room and required several trips to the front desk. Finally, this time I demanded to be relocated to a different room. Both rooms had issues with the AC. It would not get cooler than 21.5c. With that said, the hospitality was exceptional. If you’re looking for the best overall stay on the island, this one is one I’d recommend.

We stayed at Privilege for a week in August during our trip to snorkel with whale sharks and chose Privilege specifically because it's Adult Only and walkable to the village as well as the Dive Shop and other conveniences. We did Carry-On only for this trip and so walked from the Ferry Dock to the Resort, which took about 10 minutes and was a lovely way to introduce ourselves to the area. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly with a glass of champagne. We were interested in upgrading from the Garden Suite we had booked, and after discussing possible options we were shown the Premium Suite with Whirlpool Bath and opted to keep that Suite (Room 242: Building 2, 4th Floor, Suite 2; a spacious Suite with a separate kitchen/living room and bedroom, each with their own sliding glass doors leading to the expansive balcony with whirlpool tub. it had great views and a mid-resort location overlooking the pools and ocean). *a tip that always works for us: book a room you won't mind staying in if the Resort is at capacity but wait to upgrade until you're onsite. Then ask to see different options in person and politely ask for the best price. The kind Concierge at Privilege was able to offer us a very steep discount because the Resort was under capacity. The Resort/Grounds were very clean, and the beach was top class. Dining options were varied and delicious, and the Customer Service was extraordinary (a special shout out to our favorite Bartender, Morales!) We'll be back!
