Ilioupoli Vacation Packages

This hotel was great for us. The location in Monastiraki Square was ideal for walking around central Athens. Our room was clean and comfortable and the balcony had a great view of the Acropolis. We would like to recognize the excellent service received from staff members Vaso and Eiliana. They both went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable.

Zero issues nor complaints. Was great.

The breakfast was very poor. Scrambled eggs resembled porridge and the choice was very limited and underwhelming. My bungalow only had sun in the pool area from 3.30 in the afternoon, which meant we could use this area for most of the day.

Weird situation in that hotel was located in middle of a bedding store. Reception was just a small desk-no lobby and unlocked front door. We asked well ahead of time for an early check in which they couldn’t accommodate-understandable, but then we witnessed another couple checking in early with no problem. We had been told to wait (on a showroom couch) and when we went up to ask why we couldn’t get into our room they suddenly had one ready. Very irritating because we were extremely tired from an overnight flight. Just not a great experience.

Excellent location! Staff was very helpful. Our room was quite small, and facing a very busy street. We couldn't figure out how to use the A/C, so opened our windows the 1st night (Saturday), so it was very noisy and busy until early morning. Next day we got the staff to figure out the A/C, so we were able to close the windows, and get a good nights sleep.
