Nice hotel and room. Good swimming pool facilities.
A few negatives: fire alarm went off in the middle of the night (technical fault) which meant a disrupted night's sleep. Unavoidable though I think.
Service in the restaurant was pretty slow for our evening meal- we only ate there one night.
And a shame we had to pay for parking. (Cheeky little money maker!)
But overall, we enjoyed our stay.

A convenient, cost effective hotel when staying in Cambridgeshire. The room was spacious & comfortable and the hotel staff very friendly. The dining/bar area is small & basic but the food I was served was freshly cooked and enjoyable at a reasonable price. Overall my stay was better than I was expecting and I'd stay here again.

Hotel with character. Very very tired and dated though. Needs much doing to bring it up to scratch. Wedding on at the same time we were there. No notice of this. They expected us to park half a mile away and walk back even though they would pay for parking. Not really what you want or expect.

Upon arrival there was no parking at the hotel. When enquiring at reception we were offered the public multistorey car park somewhere else in the centre but told we would have to renew the ticket at 7am Sunday morning. The hotel advertises parking so if it can not be guaranteed with an executive room booking, this should be made clear.A terrible start when you do not know the area.
The rest of the stay was good although at breakfast the next morning we did nor recieve our coffee and toast despite several enquiries until we had finished our breakfast.
The room was very good and the location was excellent but we were a little dissapointed.

Older style hotel. With interesting themed photos and paintings through out. Because it is an older style with character you can forgive some of the tiredness in the rooms. At checkout I was charged for items I had not taken from the minibar. This also happened to a colleague who checked out at same time. The hotel was staff were polite and removed the item promptly.
