The staff at Hotel Maximus were extremely polite, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. They were by far the highlight of our experience. The room was surprisingly spacious for Rome, which we appreciated. However, it was not as clean as we expected. The biggest drawback was the location. Although it is relatively close to the main train station, it is far from most of Rome’s main attractions. The neighborhood is not very tourist-oriented, and we didn’t feel particularly comfortable walking around at night. One evening, there was no hot water for showers, which was very disappointing after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, we found our stay disappointing, even for a three-star hotel. While the staff were excellent, the location, cleanliness, and hot water issue significantly affected our experience.

Property was clean, small breakfast (included) area but there was always a seat. You could also go to their larger hotel Nextdoor if you like but was not necessary. Staff were all friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful. Located within 20-30 minutes walking from all major monuments except Vatican City (50 min walking, 25 by train).

The magnificent spa, elegant pool area, and superb dining options create an atmosphere of pure indulgence, allowing guests to relax and unwind in absolute comfort. What truly sets Parco dei Principi apart is its sense of understated class. There is a rare feeling of exclusivity and refinement throughout the property, reminiscent of a bygone era of luxury, yet delivered with all the comforts expected of a world-class hotel.

Great staff, beautiful views, huge rooms and terraces!

The hotel was amazing. The staff was super helpful, the hotel was spotless and the constantly clean. The breakfast was amazing along with the breathtaking views of the coliseum from the rooftop restaurant.
