Giftun Island Vacation Packages

My stay at this resort was an absolute disaster. Check-in was delayed from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and the receptionist (Zoheir or Zobeir) offered zero hospitality—no smile, no welcome, and zero information about resort rules or dining schedules. The luggage attendant didn't even guide me to my room; he just told me to go ahead alone, and my bags arrived 20 minutes later. I explicitly requested a King-size bed, but they assigned me a twin room at the extreme, isolated edge of the property—literally the last available room in the hotel. While the room itself was newly renovated and nice, being miles away from everything was exhausting. The overall atmosphere was unbearable. Overbearing security guards stared at guests constantly like we were crossing a country border illegally which is so funny any so annoying!!! Construction workers operated deafening equipment all day, while uncontrollable swarms of crows squawked non-stop. To make matters worse, dinner on my first day gave me severe diarrhea, despite the food tasting acceptable. Night entertainment was a joke. The DJ was the exact same guy from six years ago, lazily changing tracks over a single repeated beat without any mixing skills. The animation team ran the same brain-dead routine every night: kids' disco from 8:30 to 9:30 PM, an awkward show, and 15 minutes of line-dancing to 15-year-old resort songs. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.

This was our first time in an all inclusive place so we were a bit hesitant. The check in was a bit hectic but after that all went smooth. The room was nice overlooking a garden and pool. A big room with a nice balcony. The pools were all very nice and the staff were all friendly. The nicest part of the pools was a very little 'copy'of the Nile River. The food overall was very good. Especially the desserts. The main cafeteria was just as good as all the smaller specialty restaurants. Lots of little activities. Other highlights: the gardens were beautiful and the staff work really hard to maintain the gardens. It's great to just walk around the property and get your steps in too. We also did the snorkeling cruise which was really well done and the crew on the boat were friendly and in good humor. Cocktails were good. Beer and wine not so great but still passable. A very relaxing stay. (Should be noted wifi is not free in the rooms, but device passes were cheap if you need one)

This hotel was a complete disaster from start to finish. Not only were the rooms filthy, but they also scammed us by overcharging for laundry services. The pathways around the hotel were uneven and dangerous, and the stairs were incredibly slippery. We even witnessed a staff member slip and injure himself! This place is a safety hazard and a complete rip-off. Save your money and stay far away from this hotel.

Grounds were really pretty and they and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff were unfailingly helpful. Breakfast buffet was vast and good quality. We found the pools slightly disappointing as they were all in total shade by 4 and closed by 5pm (October). But otherwise very nice.

Very good but rooms could do with updated no hot water for 20 mins.

Das Hotel und Die Lage am Meer hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal und die Animateuren sind sehr freundlich und aufgestellt. Es gibt den ganzen Tag Aktionen wo man mitmachen kann. Alles in Allem perfekt. Das Essen ist sehr abwechslungsreich und sehr gut. Einzig schade ist, dass für die Nichtraucher kein gemütlicher Platz am Abend (Bar draussen) vorhanden ist. Nichts desto trotz werden wir wieder dahin reisen
