"Great resort in Luxor"
We had such a wonderful time at this resort. The people were so friendly. The resort itself was as great as any U.S. Big resort. Built for fun and had great things to do. We would go see sites for a couple of hours and then come back and spend the rest of the day at the pool. At night we would get room service which was great with many options or we would eat at one of the hotels restaurants. At night the breeze was wonderful to sit out and look over the Nile. I felt at peace here. We are from the U.S. and we always stay at nice resorts and pay a lot of money, I could not believe how cheap this place was. We want to take our kids back. It was romantic and fun. The hotel itself was pretty empty as tourism is so low now. All of the sites were easy to get into and not crowded at all. It is a really good time to go to Egypt. I didn't care for Cairo or Alexandria but I loved Luxor and wished we had gone down further stayed in that area longer. I never felt threaten or even scared in Luxor. My husband and I are both blond, young and American. We did stick out a bit there, I will wear a hat and cover my hair when visiting Egypt again. I did love the people and felt the love that they had for their country. I encouraged all of my friends to go. I know that a lot of people are scared to go but I wouldn't let that stop you. I have 5 children, 4 still young and we went. If you want to go don't be scared and just go! I loved the pools at this resort they were my favorite.

"Average hotel "
Nile view room has excellent view and only good point about the hotel Room cleanliness and facilites need to be improved. It is four star rated? Ok Average breakfast Hotel is good but not to expect the same kind of approach of a four star hotels in other parts of the world. Budget friendly though ... Value for money..... Morever it was a nice stay but with some adjustments and compromise you would'nt expect.

"For the price, you couldn't do better."
Would of been helpful if the staff spoke better English and were able to give clear directions on how to find our way around Luxor. However they tried their best and were friendly and cheerful. Breakfast was pretty good. For the price, I felt the hotel was a good deal.

"Step back to the Guided Age"
The Winter Palace evokes a bygone era of elegant travel and sumptuous service. The hotel has changed little in the past 80 years and one can easily envision Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon sitting at the bar remonstrating over their inability to locate King Tut's tomb. If you like stepping back into history, this is your hotel. The ceilings are 15 feet high and the hallways are wide and unencumbered. The rooms are nicely furnished, albeit in an Edwardian style. The staff are exceptionally helpful and pleasant.

"Great location with old world charm"
The receptionist, Mohamid, went above and beyond to help me with various needs - he even loaned me his cell phone so I could make a direct call to the airlines. The pool and gardens are beautiful. The dinner food was bad. I had fish one night and it tasted so bad I did not eat more than one bite. The waiter never asked why I didn't touch the food, he just removed the plate.

"Excellent mid-range hotel, clean & professional!"
This was an incredible hotel, I spent 7 days at this hotel and highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Luxor. PROS: - Clean hotel, no bugs, no dirt, no hassle - Clean washrooms and newly painted rooms - Hot water available all the time - Breakfast was included, continental or Egyptian breakfast, both were delicious and topped with freshly squeezed juice - Hotel owner and management were very professional and courteous - Hotel is only 5 minute walk to the Nile and a short ferry ride to the East bank of the Luxor - Hotel rooftop restaurant has a clear menu available, a great view of sunrise and a beautiful backdrop of the Valley of Queens I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Luxor on a budget trip, this hotel will exceed your expectations.

Luxor is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Luxor, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Luxor hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
