Fairmont Hot Springs Vacation Packages

The hotel itself was really good. Well located, especially during Stampede, with easy access from every direction. Staff was great, the room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was the noise during the night. Late arrivals, kids running up and down the corridor at all hours, and just the general busyness of a good family hotel at a great location. Not much that the ownership or staff could control. Certainly would recommend for those looking to really enjoy south Calgary. If youre looking for super quiet nights for sleeping....that might be tough for any hotel not just the Carroage House.

Spacious, great peaceful location with great views

Over Priced. Motel 6 Feel. Very outdated 1970's. I would stay outside of Banff 10 minutes and save yourself some money. Location is good , Garaged parking but they charge you $20 extra a night and you will pay close to $500 a night for the dump room which is a rip off.

We like the privacy of having our own cabin and always rent the gas tank for the fire pit. It would be nice if the spa room was open a bit later.

Mountain View Small room Overpriced

Overall, our stay was okay, but there are a few things future guests should know. If you’re planning to arrive around check-in time, I recommend calling ahead to confirm that your room is actually ready. Check-in is at 4:00 p.m., but when we arrived after a long day of traveling, we were told our room wasn’t ready because there was a larger reservation ahead of us. We were exhausted after the drive and had expected to be able to settle into our room, so the wait was disappointing. The room itself was decent, but we did notice hair underneath the benches, which made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. The biggest issue, however, was the lack of soundproofing. We could clearly hear people walking and talking upstairs, as well as conversations and noise from the hallway. As light sleepers, it made it difficult to get a good night’s rest. On the positive side, the parking was very convenient, and the hotel has an on-site café, although we didn’t get a chance to try it. We’d also like to recognize Yas at the front desk, who was friendly, accommodating, and helpful when we arrived. Even though our room wasn’t ready on time, she did her best to assist us, and we appreciated her professionalism. Overall, the hotel has some positives, but improvements to the check-in process, cleanliness, and soundproofing would make for a much better guest experience.
