"passing through"
Passing through Sequim as we toured the Olympus peninsula.Pleasant clean hotel.Would have liked more info on eating places as many we googled no longer existed when we got there. Ended up using the Mexican restaurant next door which we found disappointing with very slow service. Waited 30 mins to just get a first course. Food was nothing special.

"Great location but over-priced"
Superb location - stimulating views, quiet, generous sized rooms. But - almost $300 / night for a motel in PA? Really now! Especially when there is a lot of deferred external maintenance, no landscaping, and a harsh tar-coated setting. Billing error: was charged for meals we did not eat, noted on our bill after returning home. Called to correct, but NOT COOL for an expensive motel.

Manresa Castle

651 Cleveland St., Port Townsend - Map
"Castle with a View"
On a hill overlooking Port Townsend and Port Townsend Bay, Manresa Castle is a quaint and scenic inn with smallish rooms, large baths, and friendly service close to downtown, shopping, buses everywhere, and Jefferson Healthcare. Upside: the view, quiet location (compared to other hotels in PT), bus stop a block away, cleanest bathrooms ever, ample parking, well maintained grounds. On dates checked on Trivago etc., least expensive room in town (August). Downside: elevator is for luggage, not people; limited restaurants in walking distance, no microwave or fridge in rooms I've stayed.

Royal Victorian

521 E 1st Street, Port Angeles - Map
Rooms are renovated. Hotel and rooms are clean. Staff is good and helpful. Parking is just enough, but there is additional parking in rear. Room Air conditioners are a bit dated and noisy, and woke us up when they kicked in at night hence the slightly lower rating on room comfort. The location is right in the downtown and the downtown doesn't have any special charm overall, however it is close to Safeway, breakfast places etc

"Nice place for quick stay"
Rooms were clean and bed was decent. I've slept in way worse. Grounds were clean and felt inviting. Staff was polite and helpful. Only drawback is there is no air conditioning. Although they probably don't get super warm on the water it was a little warm for us in the room but we managed. They do provide two large fans that work well. Water heaters are not super large so no 30 min showers. other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Lost Mountain Lodge

"Idyllic B&B perfect for a quiet relaxing trip"
As a first time B&B guest, I didn't know what to expect. I had fears of overwhelming staff, awkward breakfast enounters, and small dark rooms that were outdated and felt too "lived in". I had never been more wrong! Lost Mountain Lodge is truly a special place. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and kind. The breakfast was delicious - a fully home cooked meal with fruit, grains, eggs, protien and veggies all cooked for you when you woke up! The property is so peaceful and well maintained. The rooms are clean and homey with all of the ammenities you'd recieve in a nice hotel. The owners Dwight and Sally are wonderful people and they really care about providing a top-notch experience. We will definitely be back and we miss it already!

Aladdin Motor Inn

2333 Washington Street, Port Townsend - Map
"Hotel on the Beach"
Our balcony looked out at the shore line and we could always see boats, ships, and sea birds. A boat marina is a block away. The hotel looks old probably due to the toll the sea air has on buildings. Right next to the hotel is a run down metal warehouse. Broken pallets and metal trash litter the property. The hotel cannot help this, but it is an eyesore when you look out the balcony. Due to parking congestion in the heart of Port Townsend, we walked into town from the hotel. It was a few long blocks but the shoreline views were worth it. The ferry boat goes between Port Townsend and Whidbey Island every few hours.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
