The hotel is located in city centre...which is a great location. The building numbering makes it a bit challenging to the cab driver since 179 is not across from 180, but a block farther west. Hotel had easy access with front steps and clever ramp for rolling bags and mobility challenged. Hotel is decorated chic modern and very wonderful in the room. Lighting in rooms was good including a desk lamp. the room furniture was inviting and usefully placed but also had a great design (adjustable height table nad welcoming throw on the couch. This was first hotel in two week trip that had a hook for clothes or PJs and the towel rack was actually working. Nice Occitane toiletries and packaged biscuits to greet you. Bed very comfortable. Staff was superb in helping us with our luggage from where we parked...around the corner. The ladies at eh desk suggested great restaurants, made reservations for us, gave us a printed out map so we knew where to walk after dinner to see some things and called cabs. Very early wake up call was right on time and again they efficiently called a cab for airport. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly come again.

I very much enjoyed staying at the Apex City of Glasgow Hotel which is a relatively new establishment in a largely heritage precinct. When I arrived I was given an upgrade to a generous light-filled and comfortable room, and everything worked perfectly. The staff were terrific - friendly, helpful and efficient. It was a great introduction to Glasgow!
