The hotel was conveniently located in the "downtown" district. Shops, tourist attractions, restaurants were within walking distance.

Beautiful property, well managed. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Interesting history of the Chateau. It's off the main tourist path. So be ready to settle in and enjoy the limited but excellent quality food and beverage in the hotel. I'd recommend it to the traveler who wants to relax in peace after a busy day or two touring Normandy. If you want nightlife, stay in Bayeux!

One of the best hotels my wife and I have EVER stayed at. The history of being a school, the room and the staff made our stay a 5 star experience. There aren’t enough words to adequately describe how amazing is the staff. Marie greeted us when we arrived Saturday. She helped us get settled- always friendly. But yesterday, was different. Everything was perfect. But our car rental battery died. The person at the front desk, sorry but her name starts with an L, came to our rescue. We don’t speak French. She called the car rental company, and made sure we were ok. My only mistake was not booking a longer stay. Peter & Joan

Property was great for train access and there were many restaurants in the area. Our room was clean but quite small, with angled ceiling right at the head of the bed. My husband and I are not tall people however my husband banged his head several times. There was also a ledge just above the headboards that we both managed bop our heads on when we tried to sit up in bed. Not well thought out.

Room was in the outbuilding and not in the chateau which was disappointing, could have said in booking and we would of booked into another chateau. Dinner was very nice and the added extras were divine. The big downside was we didn't feel welcome and waited a long time to be served at dinner, especially the wine refills. In the end we had to serve ourselves..... not worth a return trip but ok.

I had a pleasant stay at Novotel Bayeux. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel room was clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would be happy to stay here again.
